My experience could have been better if there was someone to take my order. I waited patiently before walking out without ordering.

Rude customer service kills everything that could go right with Bambu. The lady who takes order for the past year is oddly ill-mannered. There was no smiles, no greeting, no thank you, no "your drinks are ready", and no goodbye. She gave us plenty of stares and rolling of eyes, like she was disgusted that we spoke English to her. We have been supporting Bambu since it first opened and helped advertise with families and friends in the local areas. But very disappointing to see Bambu skimped over customer service.

Halo-Halo 4.4Disappointing. The Ube taste is good, the coconut is a nice touch but the jellies were clumped together and could not mix it properly.

Excellent drink selections in luding some traditional Vietnamese desserts not easily found elsewhere. Their Vietnamese coffee is very good and sweet. I hear they do banh mis too, but when I went they said they weren't making them that day ?. I wish they announced it somehow beforehand so I wouldn't make the trip in vain.

We have been going here since it opened and have never been disappointed. Everything is delicious especially the Vietnamese Che which in our opinion is better than any othe boba drinks at other places! The service is always great and the cafe has a very nice ambience should you choose to sit there and have your drink. The owner Fiona is very friendly and we are very happy that we have a Bambu Cafe here in Cary!

Came here during the holidays with some friends. We paid separately. I got 1 drink, which had coconut meat and lychee. The drink itself was quite refreshing and really good. My friends also got drinks(a smoothie and a halo halo) and a pandan Waffle. They let me have a bite of their Waffle but it was way too chewy. It was like a mochi donut texture but thick and extra springy if that makes sense. The place itself was very small, clean, and nicely decorated. The cashier was very friendly and kind. However, not entirely sure what happened during my transaction but she made me use my card twice. I figured the transaction didn't go through or she charged the wrong price or something. The second time it was clear. Upon reviewing my bank statements, they charged me twice for 1 drink. They have some intriguing items on the menu but I likely won't return here.

Overpriced Vietnamese iced coffee at $8 for [edit: the large] and the first time I've ever felt sick after one. In fact, I only made it about halfway through.

I love coming to bambu! Whether it's for a pick me up and I order the Vietnamese coffee or I'm craving something sweeter and get the bambu special che. They have such a refreshing selection. Make sure to enter your phone number when checking out for some extra rewards.

I been there a few s times myself and always order #2 and everything is good, until I bring some friends over, we order 5 Large #2, 2 sandwiches for $8.5 each and the Vietnamese girl who work there that day charged $60 for 5 #2. We paid and after take a look at the receipt I realized that were $12 each #2 plus tax. We questioned and the Vietnamese girl said because it $12 each plus tax. I said I been there a few times before and never get charged $12 total for the Large #2 and suddenly today raised up to $12 plus tax. Right after I said that she refund $10. That not end right there. Also we get charged $13.60 for the tip automatically on the receipt. We didn’t realized that charged until we get home which is 45 miles away. A few days later I go grocery shopping at Hmart and stop by again myself and this time I get charged $11 something total for Large #2 which is before only $10 something total for the large #2. The point is the last drink I order is very salty. This is sweet dessert how can it taste salty. I think the girl recognized me and that what happened. I didn’t said anything right after it happened because I think she might get fired so it okayed, but getting the salty drink served instead that’s not acceptable.

Finally there is a good Banh Mi in Cary. You need to try Banh mi sandwich. Very tasty and full loaded, good amount of meats, deli, etc, better than others closed by Vietnamese restaurants I’ve been to. Please keep up and maintain this quality level.Che dessert is delicious, and they are getting better and better every time I come back. Deserve a 5+

Overall 2 stars:Oct 2023:Hours are very unusual, I came in on a weekend for a quick smoothie and the door was unlocked. The gal/employee at the counter did not greet me but stated "we're not open yet " as it was sometime after 11am on a Saturday!. No problem, I can go somewhere else.I had a coupon for birthday and stopped in the next day and the same gal waited on me and said to me "I am not aware". Poor customer service.A few weeks ago I stopped mid afternoon for a smoothie and now apparently a business shift to add banh mi as a menu item. The smell of pork makes me nauseous! The service was not quick making smoothies and coffee at least 15 minutes, expect longer wait times for making food. This was during the week as I offered to purchase to 2 military personnel outside the shop. Clearly, the cross contamination and lowered health score rating may be affecting the business as I review based on the experience and service received. Plus, I don't think all the macaroons are gluten free. The prices of mochi are more expensive than Brier Creek area.Nonetheless, many competitors in the Cary vicinity that I will try. Good luck.Note to Owner: I came in on the weekend on a Saturday sometime after 11am did not have my phone and had to ask the time. I am most respectful of ALL people and when you asked who it was the person came from the back curtain and I discreetly mentioned that girl since no one wears name tag or company logo. Please quote the correct facts next time. Also, many people do not eat pork or pork products for both personal and religious reasons. It seems like the business model is a mish-mash, good luck there are many smoothie shops in Cary as I typically support local businesses, yours is not one that I recommend and people can read my honest review and make informed decision for themselves.
