Their enchiladas are very filling and delicious. In terms of quality of meat, the pollo a la plancha is better, though.

Honestly kind of a strange experience. The food was good but came out cold, which was pretty surprising given how long we waited for it. We ordered quesabirra tacos and had to ask for birria, the waitress seemed very confused by that request. Chips and salsa were ok but not great. No one told us we had to pay at the front, and having never been there before we just kind of sat in limbo for awhile until we wandered up to the front. Maybe it’s better at lunchtime.

My family and I had dinner there a few days ago and really enjoyed it. Chicken fajitas and tacos el pastor were fabulous. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Love, love, love Esmeralda Grill. Food is fantastic. My chicken fajita was fabulous. My wife's el pastor was also fabulous. The chips and tortillas tasted fresh and homemade. It wasn't expensive either. I highly recommend this restaurant for great food and service.

We ordered molcajete, which was phenomenal! We got it because of the rave reviews, and let me tell you, the chicken and the shrimp are fantastic! Service was good. Food was authentic. Ambiance was great, kind of a family style restaurant. We definitely will be back to try other dishes off their menu! When we went back, we ordered the Pollo A La Plata. It was so tasty!

A non-descript place off Hwy 54 outside of Chapel Hill that has fabulous mexican style food including great chile verde. On my several visits there on weekdays and weekends I found it is patronized mostly by hispanic workers, so it must have authenticity to it. You won't be disappointed

OMG this food is so good. It's probably the best Spanish food I've ever tasted. The quality of the food and ingredients is amazing, and you can tell it's authentic. If I could give this place more stars, I would. Also, the staff is kind and helpful.

Best Tacos - fresh tortillas, authentic fillings, and fresh toppings.Open every day 10-10 with authentic Mexican flavors.Located in a no frill shopping center, this is a hidden gem. I went with co-workers and we all very much enjoyed our meal. I would highly recommend checking out this restaurant.I loved the salsa and chips! My tortilla was the best I have tasted in a long time. So fresh and flavorful.Yes - 5 stars!

BEST TACOS IN THE TRIANGLE.Went with coworkers and we were seated immediately, no wait.Staff kept checking on us and got us refills on drinks and chips while we decided what to order. All the food was amazing as always. I got three tacos with rice and beans. This huge platter was just under $15 including tip.
