We ordered chicken fried rice and chicken noodles soup. Chicken soup is so watery with no taste. Chicken fried rice also doesn't have any taste, the rice very sticky.I would suggest that soup from wegmans and fried rice from panda express or pf chang are better.

I have been going to this takeout restaurant for over ten years now and I could not say enough good things about it. I get to enjoy the delicious flavors of Chinese food right from my own home. From the moment I opened my shrimp lo mien and sesame chicken, I was impressed by the inviting aromas that wafted from each dish. The menu offered an extensive selection of classic Chinese dishes, ranging from General Tso's chicken to vegetable lo mein. Each item I ordered was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The attention to detail in preparation was evident, with ingredients and a balance of flavors that made every bite a delightful experience. The efficiency of the take-out service was commendable. My order was ready for pickup within the promised time, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.Portion sizes were generous, ensuring that I had enough for a satisfying meal and leftovers for the next day. This value for money made the experience even more enjoyable.Chinese take-out restaurants often serve as a convenient and reliable option, and this particular establishment did not disappoint. It delivered a delicious and hassle-free dining experience, making it an ideal choice for those looking to savor the flavors of Chinese cuisine without the need for a sit-down meal.

My favorite place to get Chinese takeout! Service is always fast and friendly. I order ahead and my food is already ready by the time I arrive to pick it up. I usually order chicken and broccoli with fried rice.

Here in Cary there are a plethora of Chinese Take-Out restaurants. Don’t you just love the word, plethora? All Chinese Take-Out restaurants offer pretty nearly the same lunch and dinner selections. However, here are several things that set Hong Kong No. 1 apart. 1. The place is immaculate! Nothing there—tables, chairs, signage, ordering counter—looks broken or worn out. If you decide to eat your meal there, you will be surrounded by a pleasant ambiance. 2. The food is heavenly! While waiting for my take-out order I looked on as an Indian family entered the store and proceeded to order a plethora of food. As it turned out they chose to dine in-store. When their order was delivered to their table, even though a considerable distance from where I was sitting the food smelled heavenly. 3. Hong Kong No. 1 is one of only a tiny handful—if not the ONLY take-out restaurant in the area--that still offers Egg Foo Young as a Lunch Special! A generous portion, I might add. I made both lunch and dinner out of it. These are my own observations. Yours may vary. But if you’ve tried others around town and are searching for something better, try this place. What could it hurt? Hong Kong No. 1 is located among a cluster of shops at the south end of the West Park Place that is also home to Walmart Neighborhood Market and Discount Tire. Southeast corner of High House Road and NC Hwy 55.

It is the worst Chinese food I ever had. I had rice with bones as if someone ate the meat and put the bones in the rice. If I could return the food and get my money back I would. I do not recommend it all. I recommend you order from another restaurant. The food had no taste at all and it seems they do not care. Even their attitude was not friendly.

We used to frequent this restaurant often. The vegetable Spring Rolls were remarkably good as were the other dishes we would order. Then, something changed; the Spring Rolls were not the same. Then we noticed that items we normally ordered just began to not be as good, in our opinion.

I found this little hidden gem just down the street from where I was working on a job. Placed my order through Yelp and my order was confirmed by the restaurant. I showed up when Yelp said it was ready and there it was waiting for me. When I go to place for the first time , I always get Hunan Chicken with steamed rice and and egg roll. I like to see how well they actually cook and not deep fry things. Anybody can deep fry. When I removed the cover from the entree, it smelled delicious! It tasted even better. The steamed rice was perfect; soft but not soggy and sticky and it soaked up the Hunan sauce so well. The chicken was tendu and succulent and melted in my mouth. The veggie medley tasted fresh was was cooked beautifully! Not mushy, but nicely crunchy. The shrimp egg roll was also nicely done with the outside flaky and crunchy and the inside soft and chewy with lots of flavor. I don't give out 5 stars easily, but in the realm of shopping center Chinese food, this was as good as it gets! I'll be back when I'm in the area!
