“I have been coming to this gem of a pub for a couple years now and feel compelled to give them the glowing review that they deserve. First, there is the food: it truly way beyond what you might consider "pub" food. Today, I had the lunch special: half Club sandwich (given the amount of meat, it would be a full at a lot of places) and Beer Cheese soup. The care and thought that went into each was beyond the pale. Tom the owner clearly has done a great job in retaining quality chefs. The wait staff works hard and is attentive: Brooke, Sam, Gwen, Jackie, all wonderful folks. Fun crowd, great regulars, plenty of sports on flat screens. If you haven't, you should.“
“THE WINGS. I had tried this place around 8 years ago and left feeling unimpressed. However tried it again recently and was wowed.The place is definitely a sports/dive bar. Complete with a pool and ping pong table, along with around 15 dart boards. Very fun low key spot to watch the game, throw some darts and drink COLD beer.I ordered 12 wings - half Medium Buffalo, half Upper Deck (chipotle bbq). The wings were crispy and had the perfect amount of sauce. Not dry but not absolutely swimming either. The flavors of both were fantastic. A classic buffalo and the other having a sweet twinge to it.Even though the place was packed the staff were very attentive with fast service. I’d put the wings in my top 3 which is definitely saying something.Loved the experience here and will definitely be returning.“
“Even though it's located around other commercial places people easily miss this place. It's mainly locals but they're all friendly. It's big and clean but the attitude is dive. In that don't expect anything too fancy, don't judge if some people are there just to get drunk and if you treat everyone nicely and don't be pretentious they'll be nice to you back and should you have a good time. The reason this place doesn't have a ton of Yelp reviews it isn't not the place is not setup to appeal to the typical Yelp reviewer. It's just basically a bar where people go to drink, have fun and not trying to be anything more than that. If you're looking for something more about your bar or nightlife experience that's cool but then this place isn't for you.“
“I love going to this place. We go about every Monday night to participate in board game nights and it's so much fun. Lots a great people, nice atmosphere, and food that never disappoints. The staff are all nice and with quick service. Will definitely continue going here for a long time.“

The location is clean, but almost too new looking. It does not look authentic. The waitress seemed annoyed. Still tipped her well.“

“Stopped in for supper while waiting on our daughter flight to land. The food was delicious and a large portions. We had the boneless bites (sweet bbq & Garlic Parmesan) with onion rings and side salad as our sides. Chloe was our server and she was fantastic. Very casual place to grab some food and a drink.“
“Didn't really do a thorough background check on this place before going in. We were at Kwench and was pretty hungry so we said let's try this place. I'm glad we did because it was great and it was empty obviously being a sports bar and we went around 2pm. So we were able to get a nice booty it was very mellow in there and we had some of the best pretzels I have ever had. I believe they cut the pretzels so they have a flat side and then get them in a pan with butter so that flat side gets crispy and mmm delicious. I was upset we only ordered one plate and if they ever have like a half off apps I'm getting at least 4 of those 2 for them and 2 to take home. We also ordered some wraps from them and those were really good as well. We didn't expect to like this place so much but I can for sure see us making a nice trip to apex for some Kwench juice/ shakes and Rudy's for a nice app and wrap/sandwich on a nice day.“
“Went 3/16/24 about 5pm .... food was good bar food. Brussel sprouts are great. Onion rings are above average. Greek chicken wrap was really good. Seemed to have ample staff. Waitress was great.Parking: It can be tricky at times, but not a deterrent.“
“The first watering hole I walked into was when I moved to Raleigh in January of 2009. It's still my favorite melting pot of Raleigh. The bar is beautiful, and the staff and owners are amazing in their own right. Come grab a pint and join the fun/conversation at the bar! Outdoor space is really nice as well.“

“My husband & I had one of our first dates here & went here after we were married. He's from Scotland & loves a good fish & chips. They do offer Cod or Haddock. In the UK it's always Haddock. He felt the dish could have been hotter & that it was sitting under the warmer. “Some great food items, the Maria quesadilla with shrimp is really good, make sure Maria is there to make it. Sunday breakfast omelettes all day, I like to get grits and hash browns or home fries with the hearty omelette. Good Burgers here, worth the money here, don’t be afraid to edit them. Upgrading to buffalo chips (seasoned potato slices fried) from fries for 2 bucks is worth every penny. Fries are also good. Great shrimp tacos for 3 bucks on Wednesday. Wings are pretty good, they’re on special Tuesday, garlic parm sauce style are delicious. Best 4 dollar side salad I get weekly too. I had the best chicken fingers and my wife had the best wings EVER! I’ve traveled from Pennsylvania, to Virginia, to North Carolina. I’d stop by here again in a heart beat.“
“This was our first time at this restaurant. We walked from PNC arena to get dinner here before a concert. I still don't know who technically was our server because so many of them stopped by to make sure we were doing okay and get what we needed. My biggest issue was the booth we were seated at, had a row of counter seating right beside it that you felt like they were on top of you. That was a little bit awkward. Other than that, the food was good and the service was great!“

“This has become our new go-to spot. Food is good, beer selection good. Servers all good, but need to send a shout out to JR. He is a young kid who really gets it. A week or so ago I watched he give special attention to a recent widower and he has always provided great service to us. Last night, my wife's burger was a little undercooked and with trivia night our server was busy, JR took the food to the kitchen and got it fixed. Turned a so-so experience into a winner. I wish they would bring back Sunday Brunch. The best. We will keep coming.“
“Really enjoyed our dining experience yesterday afternoon. We were greeted immediately with a friendly server. From the minute we walked in the restaurant we enjoyed the staff's friendliness. Food was delicious. Wing of the day,ginger BBQ and burger of the day, cheeseburger with fried jalapeños,tomato,lettuce, guacamole with a side of tasty homemade French fries. Our food was delivered in a timely fashion,hot and prepared as we ordered. Our server,Ariana, was great. We'll definitely visit next we're visiting the area.“
