Tazza was chosen as a choice after numerous restaurants didn't have reservations for Valentine's day. The forgotten middle child you could say, the last pick in the draft, Mr. Irrelevant. It is fair to say it's in the first round of the draft now. We walked into the large wooden doors and were greeted with a lively but calm atmosphere. A large stone oven sat behind a bar, and a quiet section with tables off to the side. We were immediately taken to our table and had drinks within a minute. The tables were set beautifully, with silverware displayed around small, real candles. Attention to detail on point. The service was also excellent, we had our food within 10 minutes of ordering, signs of great things behind the scenes. Our waitress was excellent, very kind and made us feel like it was only us in the restaurant. As for the food, we had the meatballs as an appetizer and pizza as the main. Meatballs were great, could've had a little more flavor but the sauce they were in was excellent along with the bread. The pizza was delicious, we did a make your own with mushrooms and olives. The crust was amazing along with the sauce and toppings. The bill came to $34 including tip, and was money very well spent. Would entirely recommend for a semi-formal date night (think, sweaters, khakis).

Great place! We had the cheeseburger, crab cakes, and short rib tacos which were all delicious. The short rib tacos meal includes two tacos and one side. There is an added cost if substituting the side for an additional taco.

Food, and service are off the charts. Goat Cheese app was great. Crab Cakes Carnitas tacos and Pepper Honey Pizza were outstanding. Nice variety with no misses on taste or presentation. However the server Hannah was even better than that. Attentive and friendly without being intrusive. ****** for Hannah

I am hooked on their Spicy Sausage and Honey Pepper pizza. Thin pizza, crispy crust, sausage is just the right spiciness and the honey drizzle just tops off the flavor.

Limited menu but boy, they cook their thing to the point! My scallops were perfect and my husband’s meatballs were good but the best was the sauce, really tasty. Brussel sprouts were crunchy and delicious. Server was good as well. Good job!

1st time brunching at Taza. Besides the burger, nothing else stood out. I was disappointed in my Israeli Couscous bowl. The very cold couscous topped with very warm cooked shrimp just didn’t work for me. Maybe that’s just the way they do it, but could have been better if the couscous was at least room temperature. Get the burger, it’s a safe bet.

One of the BEST brunch spots in Raleigh!! Definitely order the bread platter (the brioche rolls are legit the best carb I’ve ever had in my entire life and the butters are phenomenal-try them all you won’t regret it) and the French toast! But you also can’t go wrong with the quiche or sausage sandwich for more savory options! The drinks are by far the best I’ve experienced in Raleigh! The Julius and Rossinis are Red are out of this world! The hint of vanilla paired with the OJ in the Julius is an amazing combination and the delicate vibes of the strawberries mixed with the sparking wine make the Rossinis are Red feel like Valentine’s Day in a glass-bring your girls and get ready to insta because these drinks alone are worth the trip here! The ambiance itself is always great- super clean with nice decor, I bring anyone from out of town here because it’s always a great experience. And the manager Ryan is super nice and welcoming, each time I’ve been here he has taken the time to ask how everything was and even remembered us on our second visit- so rare nowadays but very much appreciated. For lunch you can’t go wrong with the goat cheese app (this is THE BEST goat cheese dish I’ve ever had-perfectly cooked with the best bread to pair it with don’t leave without trying this!!), pulled pork sandwich, any pizza (they’re all good) and mimosas!! Nothing but feel good vibes and a guaranteed awesome meal every time ??EDIT: updating this from five years ago just to give Jimmy 5 stars - incredible service and super kind!!EDIT AGAIN!: the winter BLT is one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had and will forever be the best BLT - literally life changing ? but now also panicking since it might be seasonal

We ordered lunch to be delivered at 12:15-12:30. A good bye lunch, my boyfriend was leaving. Had to leave for the airport at 1:30- our order arrived at 1:20. What a joke- what a lame procedure, they should’ve comped the meal. Great food but unacceptable delivery. DOOR DASH SUCKS!!!!! Very unreliable.
