LOVE this French bistro! Having lived in bigger cities, I crave this quality of food that Bluebird provides. Dining for brunch, the atmosphere is lively and beautifully designed. The Salade Niçoise with seared tuna is divine and perfectly cooked. It is far superior to the same salad at Vin Rouge. My only request is to swap the frisée for mixed greens or add to it. It's a bit too wiry against the succulent tuna. We can't wait to go back for dinner and try the escargots! Thank you Bluebird.

My partner and I picked blue bird for our Saturday date because we had never been there before - and boy were we in for a treat! We had a lovely server named Caleb who was both attentive and funny. My partner ordered steak frites and he describes it as juicy and delicious. I, however, am vegetarian so I got the palento and it was SO GOOD. We got both soups and we loved both of them. The chocolate torte and Financier were both amazing as well. Another shout out to our amazing server Caleb we couldn’t have had a more amazing first experience.

One word: exceptional. I’m a dedicated Francophile, and the food was on point, as was the service. A true upscale French bistro atmosphere … cocktails were delicious and reasonably priced. Easily the best steak I've ever had in my life. Absolutely fantastic desserts too. A little loud inside, but excellent service. Really great place.

Honestly I wish I had more to say. You just have to go and see for yourself! Hands down the single best service and staff in Chapel Hill! The food is always top tier and we never fail to have a great date night. I recommend this place every chance I get. 10/10Vegetarian options: Let me start by saying I am not a vegetarian... Having said that, I do love trying anything iv never had before. Two of my three times at blue bird my girlfriend and I both tried a vegetarian dish along side our main entree and we're highly impressed. The vegetarian dishes are some of the best on the menu.
Bluebird is above and beyond in service, food presentation, taste, and ambiance. Their brunch is by far the best in the triangle. The omelette with mushrooms is light, fluffy, and flavorful. The kouign anman is buttery, flaky, and not too sweet. Frites are perfectly crisp. Can't wait to go back!
Honestly, the best brunch I have ever had. A superbly orchestrated menu, 100% on-point execution, excellent service, all in a French bistro atmosphere.Highly recommended.
