I ordered a take out order for someone celebrating a holiday away from home, and they really went the extra mile!! They wrote a special note on the box, and gave them a mini cake to celebrate! I truly love this place, we always get the corned beef hash and their caramel iced coffee and it’s scrumptious. Thank you Carolina Coffee Shop!

Went for brunch at this sweet local spot this morning at 9:30AM. My party of two took up the last table before the waiting line started. Our server was very kind, the coffee was great and the food was also worth the trip. The restaurant has cozy vibes and there is also a bar you can sit at too. I got the Eggs Jennifer which was delish! Two poached eggs with spinach and avocado. Highly recommend.

Ordered a number of items via Takeout Central here today, including the BLTC. I made a note clearly asking for no cheese. Not sure what happened but I got just an LT.And the guac on the smashed avocado toast was on the browner side. The sweet potato fries, regular fries, and the chicken wrap (I’m told) were good.

So fun to share in the history of Chapel Hill sports and enjoy a place with current family following in their Dad's footsteps.

Great place to get some breakfast before class. The CCS Classic Omlete is my favorite, and the portions are generous. Being so close to campus, it’s a wonderful breakfast place. The service might be a bit slow at times but that isn’t a big issue.

Just had a lunch today at Carolina Coffee Shop. Waiter and waitress were polite. Service quality is above average. Only complain was the food. I ordered the chicken wrap with bacon. The bacon pieces were hard and not friendly to teeth. Also a piece of bone (chicken's?) broken inside my mouth and hurt my gum. Initially I thought my teeth was broken over some hard food pieces. I guess I need a couple weeks to recover my tissue around a tooth on the bottom left. Hopefully the sore feeling can go away soon.

Hells bells - the hash is fire The wait sucks - but such is life. People watching is pretty solid.

Although people say it is a staple in Chapel hill and one of the few breakfast/brunch spots in town, I believe that they have significantly reduced their quality and quantity. The portions are now small and the dishes seem like no effort at all was put into making them. I believe this happens because there is not strong competition in the area but still I would like them to respect their customers more by trying to satisfy them.

Super crowded on a basketball fgame day. Despite this service was very quick at our drinks for out with in just a couple minutes. Got a cappuccino and a chai latte and both were excellent. Reasonable prices and clean bathrooms. This is a Carolina staple and always a favorite when I'm in town!

Tasty food. Hot coffee. Served by super friendly college kids. Check out the craft cocktails. Service was a little slow and missed the mark but more than made up in smiles and food deliciousness
