I had this at 5 stars, but I had to change it to 1 star. My husband had the Big Ham and Cheese and honestly I would hate to see a regular size. There was hardly any ham on it. It was more bun than anything. I myself had the Hand Breaded Chicken sandwich and a small fry. This was without a doubt the worst I’ve ever had. The chicken sandwich and fries were cooked in some pretty old grease and seriously, it was old. I couldn’t even eat my sandwich nor the fries. I literally had to take something for nausea when we got home. We were wondering why there was absolutely no other customers at noon, We’ll we had our answer. I would not recommend the Hardee’s on First St. Also Google maps shows there is Dine in but no, the doors were locked. I’m done with you Hardee’s, you have disappointed us for the last time.

I ordered ahead of time. What a mistake. The staff denied my order, told me to get in line to reorder. When I tried to reorder, SOMEONE heard me trying to straighten out my order, told me to drive around. Apparently, the gentleman in the window was told where my food was.When I asked how I could make this smoother next time, he waved me away like it was just too much trouble to talk to me. Surprisingly rude.I didn't get my complete order, either. I'd ordered a combo. Didn't get the fries.Unusually poor customer service for a Hardee's.

This place is all over the map with customer service. One day there will be a very pleasant person working the drive through. (Because the dining room is never open) Then a day like today, the person working the drive through apparently could careless about customers. I could see he was making the incorrect drink, so I let him know it should be Diet not regular. He informed me 3 times, NO you ordered Dr Pepper. Forced the drink towards me. Grabbed my credit card from my hand, forced my bag of food and card back at me. He turned to walk away and I state please work on your customer service some. He came through the window and stated he didn’t need to work on anything.Hardee’s please do better training staff. He may have been having a bad day, but that isn’t something paying customers should deal with.

I've been somewhat disappointed with Hardee's the last few visits. Not the same quality in how the burger is put together and the amount of lettuce etc put on the burger seems to have decreased. My last 3 visits, the fries have been lame.

Wow, the people working at this location are just awesome! We went to place our order for their chicken strips (the best chicken strip out there, always juicy and tender with a crispy crust outside) and a few burgers. We needed to run a few errands while the chicken strip were being cooked. The employees there made sure that all our food was timed correctly to be done in time for us to pick it up and it was hot. They were all so polite and kind, makes you feel going to a place like this. Sometimes fast food places can be hit or miss, but the food was great and the service was awesome!! Keep up the great work, you deserve a raise!! Thank you!!

Get off Doordash if you're going to be canceling orders. Wendy's/McDonald's it is from this point on and others should followsuit

Shows location as open so I sent in a mobile order it was accepted then showed it was being made but when I arrived the location was closed with no signs as to why. I have called customer service number on the drive through window because the order shows it has already charged me but I haven’t been contacted. Please contact me so we can get this issue resolved.

Drive thru person was short, uncommunicative, unwelcoming.Tried to hand me my drink AND my debit card back at the same time with one hand and I barely was able to grab them at the same time.Onion rings were overcooked. Fries were cold.Chicken tenders (I used to love Hardees chicken tenders) were TINY, dry, overcooked, stringy, and terrible.Never going here again.

Ordered the ham sandwich with no cheese, there was 3 , yes, only 3, very thin slices of ham very disappointed.

The buns were soggy. Ordered onion rings got fries. I didn't see anyone wearing gloves. Even though the same was handling money and food.

It's okay the food seemed rushed and not as fresh as it should for the price you pay along with the wait time.

Ordered 2 burger combos with drinks. Fries were old and tasted like they were reheated in a microwave, burgers were dry and tasted as if they were made hours before hand, buns were stale, and the drinks were flat… I should have seen the warning signs when not a single person during the lunch hour was pulling into the parking lot. Everyone was flooding into Wendy’s across the street. Was in a hurry and didn’t want to wait in line at Wendy’s… big mistake which I’m never making again. The Drive thru staff was friendly but apparently lacked common sense on what customers want, which is fresh hot food. This is the second time in a row this has happened to me at the same location. Never going there again.

Two tips for transplants to NC: 1) the best biscuits come from either your mother's kitchen or Hardees, not some fancy pants biscuit place. 2) Every Hardees varies in quality when it comes to their biscuits. Some are just better than others. I would say this one has the best in the immediate area. Way better than the one over by Mardi Gras. The best I've had were at the one on 54 and Alston in RTP but that was years ago.

Yuk and double yuk. Ordered over $20 worth of sandwiches/drinks with no taste. Sweet tea tasted like brown water. No sugar. No flavor. Just a tea bag and water basically. Too bad we were already back on the highway to our Thanksgiving destination or we would have gone back. Guess the service was due to one of the staff members praising that "TG they were closing in about 20 mins". Maybe that's why there is a 92 inspection rating and subpar food/drink. Smh.
