Marcel catered my late husband's celebration of life. The food was delicious and the price was right and everything happened just as promised. I can't say enough good things about Marcel and Larry.

I called to ask a question and they were very unprofessional. She could’ve tried to ask questions to try to understand what I needed. They need someone that’s more professional answering the phone.

Marcel's catered a silent auction for us and it was a perfect experience. We're a non-profit and had a pretty small budget, but they were able to work with us on the perfect, budget friendly menu - and it was still delicious! We had a cash bar as well and the bartenders were incredible! Super friendly and went above and beyond.

Marcel's catered our son's wedding rehearsal dinner and the entire experience was wonderful. We had great communication from the beginning and we were provided with samples of food to try before we finalized the menu. The food and service the night of the dinner was excellent. We highly recommend Marcel's Catering Cafe.

If you want food that tastes and smells like cigarettes, Marcel's is the place for you. They don't even cook their own food, they buy other peoples prepared food and put it together. I wouldn't recommend this place to cater a birthday party for feral dogs.

I was at a conference in Chapel Hill and was worried about what food was going to be served. I'm from South Texas and currently live in New Orleans so I live off heavily spiced foods. I had just returned from visiting a friend in Ohio and was devastated at the lack of hot sauce in the state. And no, Ohio, salsa is not hot sauce. The first day I was pleasantly surprised to find a breakfast spread that included fresh fruit salad, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, homemade granola, and damn good coffee. I can't remember the lunches for each day but I had absolutely no complaints. Everything was homemade and there were very few items that were store bought (yogurt, specifically). The second day I told the caterers I loved the granola so they offered the recipe! I have nothing but high praise for Marcel's Catering Company! I'm thrilled to be the first reviewer, too!
