It was busy this night but they were really quick with getting everything together. However the food wasn't really what we paid for. It was mostly bread and there was a little chicken and avacado which as the main ingredients of the "Chipotle chicken avacado melt" there wasnt much. Usually it's good which is why it gets 3 stars but this night was honestly dissapointing.

Centrally located on Franklin St, convenient location. This Panera Bread has their own free parking lot surrounding the restaurant which is rather rare for a business on Franklin St. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. The atmosphere is lively and there's tons of seating. Check out the Panera app, they have an awesome rewards program, join the beverage sip club right now it's 1st 2 months free. You get unlimited free drinks for most of the beverages!!!

Don’t park your car at Panera to eat, or they will tow it, literally within 2 minutes. I will never eat at this place, or pick any orders up again.

If I could give 0 stars, I would.I came from Raleigh to know the city, I parked at panera bread to have lunch/dinner and since is next to target I walk in to look for some warm gloves and after 10 min my car was towed. I have to pay 360 usd because I walked out of the parking lot. This is ridiculous, I will never buy at panera Bread again

Planned on getting a drink here after walking across the street to Chipotle. Got my burrito with no line and walked out to see my truck already in the air on a tow truck. Could not have even been 5 minutes. You lost all my business.

Another, (maybe your 200th!!) downvote for extremely predatory towing practices with your parking lot vulture buddies, Barnes Towing. You are stealing thousands and thousands of dollars from the Tarheel faithful. Shame on you! Are the owners Dookies??

Please be careful, there is a predatory towing company that tows cars there no matter what! There is a sign saying “towing enforced for people who aren’t customers” but they tow anyone parked there (even if you’re a customer) and don’t stop. Dining at Panera today, we saw a tow truck appear to tow someone away within 10 minutes of us sitting inside, and after reading reviews of other people experiencing towing despite being a customer, we left Panera. Super predatory and messed up.

We eat at Panera while travel Ing and while in town, typically get really great salads. This time the greens had a lot more black stuff in it than normal. Everything else was really great though.

AVOID! This Panera allows a predatory towing company (Barnes Towing at 54 Carson St.) to run their parking lot. They lurk around waiting to tow cars as soon as their drivers are out of sight, whether they're a Panera customer or not. My car was towed yesterday within just a few minutes of leaving the lot. I ended up paying >$300 by the end of this horrible experience, and I'm sure Panera got a cut.I went to Panera to pick up lunch, and I was also picking up a take-out order from Chipotle next door. The Chipotle lot was full, and the Panera lot was about 75% empty, so I parked there. I walked 100 feet away from my car to Chipotle, and when I came back about 5-7 minutes later, my car was being towed and the driver wouldn't stop. I had seen the signs about towing, but never imagined it would apply for momentarily going next door.I ended up paying $260 cash to get my car back--a "discount" from the $360 Barnes Towing charges to use a credit card, which just proves that they're a cash scam, probably so they can pay Panera under the table. With the towing fee and the Uber to the sketchy impound lot 20 minutes away, I paid over $300 and didn't even get a sandwich out of it :)
