“I always get the fish tacos which are incredible delicious. The only thing I don't like is how the staff asks you as soon as you walk in the door "is it to go?" I find it very annoying to be the first thing you hear when entering a restaurant because -no, I'm eating in- and I don't like saying "no" as soon as I enter an establishment. Also, it feels like they don't want you there when they ask such a thing. I hope the management reads this review because it's really off-putting and almost upsets me. Staff should say "Hello, welcome to O'Ya" or something because the client will obviously tell you if it is to go because they ordered it and are there to pick it up.“

“First experience at Alpaca today did not disappoint! The Ninth Street location was clean, well run, and super friendly! The food quality and quantity were amazing; a very good value. Great place to meet an old friend for some catching up over really good food.“

“One of the best restaurants I've tried around Durham. I've tried them at least 5 times already and I was a happy customer every time. What keeps me coming back is the chicken: it's always moist, juicy and full of flavor. Yes, even the white meat. I don't normally review, but they definitely got this one. 5/5“

“Great little restaurant in a strip mall. The food was really good. We had the ceviche (very good!), lomo saltado and chicharrón mixto. The plates were big, the flavor was good and the service was also good. There were five adults in our party and they charged 20% gratuity automatically. I don't considered a five adult party to be a big group, so I was surprised when we got our check. The service was good, so I didn't mind the 20% gratuity this time.“

“Met the manager, she was really nice. The grilled chicken was very tasty I just wish that it was cooked longer. I absolutely love the string beans, yuca fries and fried plantains here. the self serve sauces to pair with the chicken are good too.“

“Don't eat at the one in Fayetteville. The location used to be Fabe's and that was great. The locations for Alpaca in Sanford and Raleigh are great, too, but I got food from the one in Fayetteville the other day and was so disappointed. The chicken was not nearly as flavorful as it should have been and the green sauce was like that as well. It was just sad. I suppose I should have guessed based on the two staff members running the counter. They looked and acted like they wanted to be anywhere else.“
