This place was incredible. We never had Turkish food before and were excited to try it - it was outstanding. The staff and service were also incredible making for an amazing overall experience. I give this place my highest recommendation.

Authentic Turkish cuisines in authentic Turkish deco.
The Turkish bread and the dip they give with it is very nice. Didn’t like the hummus, probably thats how Turkish hummus is supposed to be. The turkish coffee was really nice. The dessert was a disappointment the cheese was bad, I have eaten far better Kanafa/Kunafa.

I have been here on Valentine's Day, did not knew that they had valentines menu. But anyway the food was average and vegetarian dish is the worst on the menu. Appetizer and Dessert were ok. Service was ok, I was not able to enjoy ambiance on a busy Valentine's Day dinner due to seating and the sofas that was arranged against the wall was not comfortable at all.

Probably the best restaurant on Franklin St. Cozy and lively ambiance. Food is authentic and the meat is very well done. The Sultan's Delight was the standout from our order. It gets quite busy on the weekends so reservations are recommended. Cocktails weren't bad also.
Really enjoyed our first visit to Talulla's. Went with another couple, and there's something on the menu for everyone. I had a sea bass entree, which was an off menu offering that night. It was some of the best fish I've ever eaten.

$25 for a small bowl of vegetables. Setting is nice and the service is fine. But the portions are tiny, a third of a meal for the price of a meal. I suspect many of the glowing reviews are from people who think that restaurants must be good if their food is expensive with tiny portions. But Franklin Street has many equally good options that are better priced.

Our server was one of the best ever. The food was delicious. Each item was completely different from the other which made it a sharing experience leading to wonderful conversation and ambience all around.

Best Mediterranean Restaurant in US. Authentic dishes are served exactly the way you would find them in the Middle East. Attention to detail is superb. Hands down a must go to dine whenever in Chapel Hill!
First time at Talullah's. Dinner for Valentine's Day. Prix fixe menu, 3 courses for $50. The food was excellent. The service was a little slow but not off-putting. They really stuffed a lot of tables in there for the night which made it very cramped. Would love to return and try the full menu.Parking: Public lot across the street with another a couple hundred yards away. Free after a certain hour. Lots of street parking as well along Franklin St.

All of the food we had was quite tasty. The restaurant had overbooked, but thankfully our reservation was early so it was not delayed. Even though it was quite busy, the quality of the meal did not suffer. I had the sea bass special and my husband had the doner kebab. Both were very tasty. The Dolmades were quite distinct from Greek Dolmas, with a unique flavor profile.
Food was delicious. I think the server was new. He delivered the wrong appetizer to the table next to us, then an incorrect entree to our table. We were served bread earlier in the meal, but not after the Hummus appetizer arrived. I think he was really busy as he never asked how our meal was. Even so, I will go back!

Been there numerous times and this restaurant will never fail you. The service is always hospitable and the food is always delicious. Have not had a bad thing on their menu. Their baklava is to die for.
