Wish I could give ZERO stars!!! This place had a lot of potential but I am not surprised it is closing down. Terrible service and an owner(Clyde, I think) who was openly rude to patrons. Not sure how this place lasted as long as it did with him in charge. Expensive drinks brought to you in plastic cups and just given a can of soda to mix your own drinks. BS "membership" charge when you came in that got you zero perks or privileges. Great location that I hope the next tenants put to better use. I will not support any future businesses this owner and management are apart of.

I came into town. Came here to order food. The food was a little pricey for the portion given. Went into the restaurant, no tissue or paper towels. I asked a young lady named Dee, who was rude when asked about placing tissue in the bathroom. I requested the manager and was advised they were the manager and no one else over them. I met my business partner outside to inform him I'm ready to go because of the service I wasn't pleased with and what occurred. My business partner went across the street to speak with PR regarding a section for the evening. Was only outside standing discussing business under 10 mins. They car was towed and was informed that the owner Clyde called/ texted requested for the car to be removed. I spoke back to rude girl D "manager" asking why car was towed because we were patrons there just ran across street to conduct business less than 10 mins. They said they have no idea and they tow watchers. I requested Clyde, who tow Guy LA told me who made a request. When I spoke to Clyde, he denied everything, with no empathy or sympathy regarding this scam. The tow company informed them that they don't watch cars because they had a bad run end with them requesting cars to come back and not pay. He said Clyde reached out to him and showed the message and call. He said every car owner gets a small token. Now, Clyde said that folks, not patrons, have to pay $30. However, we were and no signs out, but park here, no dollar amount listed. Also, no parking attendees cover the lot if folks want to park or money box to pay for slots. After further research, he had run ends with the city last summer about to lose property and volume low. So, he's on a money hunt to make up his loose. But this is unacceptable, and especially, not knowing my role with the city. Let's see how things turn out for 2024. Mr. Clyde.Parking: Will tow your car

One of my favorite lounge vibes in the city. Grown and sexy without being TOO mature. It’s just right! The staff is always prompt, friendly and approachable. The ambiance is nice.

do not do business with this company as the owner Clyde is in cahoots with the tow truck company he gets a kick back from every car he gets towed so while you're in there trying to do business you might come out in your car is gone that's because he's in kahoos if he have a slow day he's going to get your car towed so he can try to get some money to recoup from nobody coming out there go somewhere else and have a nice time and enjoy yourself at least you'll come out and have your vehicle but this is not a place I would recommend for anybody to go because he gets a kick back from the tow truck companies beware

Went to a car show. Bathroom had no soap, no toilet paper. I told the staff about both but they only replaced the toilet paper after they told me they refilled both. Drinking glasses were so filthy that the staff even laughed when I returned my Manhattan. Finally they put it in a plastic cup and the drink was delicious. Hookah overpriced compared to other spots 57.00 to 75.00 for hookah. The food truck on site was delicious. Shrimp and stir-fry by Perry's was amazing. ? I'll rate them separately 5? stars.

This is a CUTE spot! Lots of seating, especially outdoors. The staff shirts are hella dope and I like the vibe. Destiny was our bartender. I'm a tried and true long Island drinker, and she did not hesitate to make it the best one! Added some strawberry grenadine, a lemon and a fresh strawberry! It was strong and tasty! She was sweet and intentional! I appreciate that on black establishments!! This was my 1st time and I will definitely return!!

I'm not sure if it depends on what day you go but I expected to have an option for a sit down meal, only had 2 food trucks, one of which was practically sold out of everything & the other was so slow & slightly unprofessional, I almost forgot I ordered... nice & spacious patio/outdoor

THE LONGER PPL ARE IN LINE, THE LESS TIME THEY WILL HAVE TO SPEND MONEY AT THE BAR!!!! the guys letting ppl in need to do something else....You get a table, buy food, then if you get up to go to the bathroom the staff comes and throws your drinks and food away..WTH.. !!!! 1501 can be hit or miss. It can get overcrowded, to the point of annoyance. Due to the al fresco nature of the venue, it gets really hot/humid during the warmer months. Last time I was here with a friend, we stood under a large fan/AC unit, lol. This was after 11PM. The bartenders can be a little slow. I don't think the lounge itself serves food, but there is often a food truck onsite.

This place is outstanding! The wife and I came for 33 & Main and found 1501 S. Mint. A beautiful black owned outdoor lounge and bar. Also Perry's food truck was there with "Fresh Grilled Delicious Foodie Favorites and Diet Friendly" food.

Please put some fans outside! This is an outdoor venue in the South! Liquor and heat don't mix. Lol. Pay to sit down? $50 minimum. Why is it our businesses that want the patronage but then charge us out the wazoo?! Not looking for a hook up just reasonable prices.

Definitely would return here next time I’m in Charlotte.Time: Friday 10:30pmAtmosphere: Indoor and Outdoor options!Food: There was a food truck on premises serving tacos(I didn’t eat thought because I had prior)There’s Drinks, Hookah, and Cigars available which is very diverse.Music: Dj was creating a vibe although it seems at like 12am they have to turn down the music on the patio.Price: FREE ENTRY. Drinks were around $13 for patron&pineapple. Hookah was $50.Parking: This is the only thing that was difficult. Seems like on all of the surrounding streets there are no parking signs. However everyone parked there anyway so I guess it’s cool. We parked where it said no parking and it was cool. I also didn’t notice anyone getting towed or ticketed so….Parking: Signs say no parking but everyone parked there so….
