We have been looking for authentic Peruvian food for years, and this is it!!! The cerviche, Ajo de gallena, lomo saltado were particularly good, but all was fabulous. Service was friendly and super quick. We are so excited to have found this gem and definitely will go back!! We even had Alicia come greet us and tell us about the restaurant. It is great for families too!!

Spoke to the owner, and the look of the place will be improved in the next couple of months. As a Peruvian restaurant, the place has been running only three months so far. The owner has a lot of ideas to make the place more attractive. They have a bakery with peruvian dessert that we really enjoyed.

The truth is that I drove almost 3 hours from Raleigh, NC to only be disappointed. 1. The food that I ordered was everything the waitress told me that there wasn't any, well in the end we ate something that we didn't want to eat. 2. The food was not that delicious except for the chicken aji (we ordered dry with beans which had nothing to do with the horrible taste, chaufa rice which was just chicken rice and Chinese onion NOTHING ELSE! and the taste was 0)3. They took too long to attend and collect. The truth is that I honestly do not recommend it! ???????? First and last.

I’ll say it’s possibly the most authentic Peruvian food in Charlotte, but that doesn’t say much. Charlotte doesn’t have any authentic Peruvian restaurants and yup I’ve tried them all. Coming from Miami I’m used to having amazing Peruvian restaurants on almost every corner! The issue with the Peruvian restaurants here in Charlotte is that they don’t use quality meats. For example, in Miami, Peruvian restaurants use Filet Mignon for their Lomo Saltado and the beef is tender and juicy!! Here in Charlotte they use poor quality beef and you can tell by how hard and chewy the meat is. The flavors may be good, but tough meat is never good.Another common issue is in the 4 years I’ve been here, I’ve never seen any Peruvian restaurant make Suspiro Limeño (a very popular Peruvian dessert) it’s almost as if the Peruvian here in Charlotte didn’t get the memo. Also, if you’re located inside a grocery store where they’re also preparing peoples taxes and selling jewelry, your food shouldn’t be expensive. Aji de Gallina should be no more than 12$ and Lomo Saltado 14-18 dollars! This place is overpriced. Also it wouldn’t hurt to have more than ONE server. The young lady did an exceptional job being all by herself and bussing her own table too.

The restaurant is in the back portion of the shared space. Good authentic Peruvian food. Great portions. Super customer service. We ordered the seco de res and the lomo saltado. Both really good. Hits the cravings when I miss Peruvian food. We hit this spot anytime we're in Charlotte.

First of all, congratulations for the good service they have in this place and for the good supplies they use. I recently went to eat a green noodle, I usually haven't found where they sell a delicious green noodle, until now. I can say that it was too delicious, delicious seasoning, everything was on point. I totally recommend eating at this restaurant. ??
