I went to this establishment today 3-23-24 at 6:30. When I arrived, there were 1 person in line ordering as I entered. There is a side door where a man came in from the side. There were 4 workers, 2 ladies standing in the middle of the store talking, 1 man on the grille, & 1 man on the phone. I waited in line patiently. Finally the man in the front got his receipt & left. The man said next & as I moved forward the man who came from the side stepped in front of me & said he had a door dash pick up order. I let it go because the store was not busy. After the man from the grille gave him his order, he walked back to the grille without helping me. The man on the phone was still on the phone as if he was still taking an order. I waited patiently & finally asked was anybody going to take my order, nobody answered & looked at me crazy. My total time in this restaurant was 15 minute's & nobody helped me even after asking. I will never return to this American Deli again. Very Poor customer services.

food is not good. Bland and boring. The fries have 0 seasoning, does this restaurant not know about salt? or pepper? put something on them. They are straight out of a frozen bag from foodlion and just slapped the soggy barely cooked fries into a box with no flavor. place stinks done trying it

The food is always amazing and tasty. I love the Philly cheesesteak , shrimps , cheeseburger and gyros those are my favorite . The service is good and helpful. Different locations in CLT but each place is different it can either be packed or empty. The ambiance is that it's a chill place, they either have the tv or music on while you enjoy your meal

This restaurant never honors orders place on line close to closing time. Ordered food for pick up at 8:15pm. Order was supposed to be ready by 8:35pm. Arrive at 8:35 to find the restaurant was closed.

I tried to call my order in and the business did not answer the phone. I placed my order at the counter when I arrived. I got home and realized they gave me ham instead of turkey when I bit into my salty sandwich. I called to report this and they did not answer the phone.

The cashier that worked tonight needs to be fired. She always leaves you on hold and never picks back up if you call within a hour of Closing time. Tonight she put me on hold, if I called back the phone was off the hook or she'll answer and not say anything. This only happens when she works.

Customer service was great, young lady behind the counter was very friendly. I got the Philly and wing combo, food was just ok for me. Wings real tiny and the sandwich was decent. Didn’t really like the garlic parm sauce on my wings, I think would be better if was a dry rub. All in all I’d go back because they have other items I’d try.
I've been to American Deli four times in my lifetime all within a year. I've only been to two of their I think 5 locations here in Charlotte. I went to this location because I was shopping at a nearby family Dollar store. This location is pleasant considering the area is a little run down due to age and some current construction work being done to the area. It's just off the light rail line but the store is clean and the staff workers are friendly and provide excellent service. The philly cheese steak combo is my favorite made with fresh ingredients and always cooked perfectly. And it's still warm once I take the light rail back home.

Pretty good food. Restaurant with sort of dirty and service was sort of slow.
The fish, shrimp and chicken were overcooked.( very dark and hard) I ordered a salad and I got no dressing. Fries were cold. it was one of the worst meals I've ever purchased. I truly believe that the meat was recooked! One of my orders was a combo, and they charged me for 2 orders. I will never. ever go there again. Very disappointing.I wasted a lot of money here. Rating is 0, but there is no 0, so I have to say 1.
