Reached at 7.50 pm 2 adult and a kid. Wait staff said they have party of 20 people and restaurant closes at 9 pm so cannot serve us. Shocking that they can't handle 23 orders with 1 hr spare to close. Not sure if that was real reason.

Very nice place to come and get great Thai food. My friend took me since we were in her city. We had a late dinner and it was good. The potions are very big and they make your food to order. Fresh and hot. I hope they come to Tx we would love to have them.

Basil Thai Cuisine is our go-to restaurant for take-out Thai food. I stick with what I like, and here I love the Pad See Ew with tofu. I get it every time. The noodles are always perfect - flat, wide, soft, delicious. They capture the flavor of the sauce stirred in amazingly well. There are also a good amount of broccoli mixed in - so although this breaks from my traditional salad I get at every other restaurant, the broccoli makes it feel like a healthy salad. The fried tofu is also a great medium for getting that tasty sauce into my mouth as well. When I get this for take-out, I'll split the order into two separate meals. But when I went to Basil Thai to dine-in for the first time ever, I ended up devouring the whole plate because it's just that good and I can't resist it. I cannot say enough good things about the Pad See Ew at Basil Thai.My wife ordered her usual Pad Thai with shrimp and also raves about it. We were with another couple who always get the Tom Kha Gai Tureen soup (without the chicken, as they are vegetarian, but they add tofu). The presentation of the soup was outstanding, served in a ring shaped bowl with a fire underneath in the middle to keep it warm. The soup seemed large enough for many multiple servings, as the couple plus my wife didn't even finish the thing. I don't like coconut, so I didn't even try it - but the three others proclaimed this souply glory. If you like such flavors, I trust their recommendation. The ambiance inside Basil Thai was really chill and felt pretty authentic. I did not expect the restaurant to be so big, as it really opens up once you get past the host stand (and walk by the open kitchen). Plenty of big tables for large groups and also many two-tops for a date-night. Everything about Basil Thai (from the food to the ambiance) makes you feel warm and welcome.I highly recommend Basil Thai Cuisine for a fabulous Thai meal!Vegetarian options: Like most Thai restaurants, it seems like nearly every dish can be made with vegetarians in mind.Parking: It's a big shopping center with a big parking lot, but most of the closer spots can get filled up.

Basil Thai used to be our once and even twice a week go to restaurant. There has been a gradual decrease in the quality of the food and service. The real reason for the bad review is Debbie the manager who is inept and horrible in her position. On occasion we have had an ill prepared dish or two. We would call and the manager would be curtious and understanding offering to have it re-made correctly. Well Debbie would have non of it. All she could muster were some weak excuses and “I’ll let the kitchen staff know”. She was extremely defensive and offered no solution. Keep in mind our average bill per order is $120 per order. Typically we spend $500 per month just at this one location.

Host was rude and we ended up leaving without ordering. The place was empty and we asked for a table in the middle and they asked us to go back to the entrance and wait. Racist staff.

Thank you for having proper vegetarian meals options for my friend. Knowing that you don't use meat stock with a tofu option is reassuring to them. And thank you for putting a candle in the dessert for her birthday. We will be back!

Ordered the basil seafood, and there was hardly any basil in it. And very little sauce. And ordered the crispy red curry duck and it was very very soggy.

One of the worst customer experience we have in the restaurant. I along with my wife was there in Thursday for lunch. They were short of staff, so was ok to wait for 10-15 mins. Later when got the table and we asked that food should be egg free and listening to that server was shocked and told that’s not possible. Server was rude and may be possible due to short staff. Although same food I ordered 4-5 months back through Uber eats at that time I got it without egg. Server asked me that no food is without egg so it’s our choice to eat or may leave. I haven’t seen such a pathetic customer service in any of the restaurants. Definitely will not be ordering from Uber eats or go for dine in. Highly not recommended. If there would have been option to rate something less than 1 star then definitely would have given itVegetarian options: Nothing for vegetarians to eat.Dietary restrictions: Server said no dietary restriction food will be available.

To give the benefit of the doubt, I was there on a Monday, which is usually a slower day for restaurants. But…I saw the menu online and it had some of my favorite dishes. So I was excited to visit for the first time.Ive tried most of the other Thai food restaurants within a 10 mile radius, and this one would be at the bottom of my list. Our group ordered spring rolls, pho, hot and sour soup, larb, and red curry. Outside of the red curry, every other dish was not worth finishing. So bummed! In addition to that, service was slow and we felt forgotten, even though there was only 2-3 other parties at the restaurant.I generally look for the good in every restaurant… and the fact that the service was friendly when they got to us, is why I gave them a second star.
