I got there right when they opened so no one was there the woman at the bar was very helpful and nice I loved her. The food was not that great it looked good but the seasoning wasnt there at all was a little disappointed because I love cajun food. I got 2 crab cakes ( taste more like regular salmon patties ), greens ( no seasoning at all ), fried okra ( the best ), gumbo ( no seasoning at all ), and chicken seafood jambalaya ( small amount of seasoning could have used alot more ). Hope this helped have a good week. :)

I've always had great service, great food, that keeps me coming back. The catfish always has a Cajun kick the braised cabbage is very savory the fried chicken is juicy. I do believe everything on the menu will be A-1 quality

This place is great ! Olivia (maybe that was her name , if not I am close to it) gave excellent service ! It is hard to come across great servers nowadays. I will come to the place again. Also much respect to the owner for coming to greet his customers! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My husband thoroughly enjoyed his blackened salmon with vegetables and green beans almondine. The food was ready for pick up on time. The restaurant is small. I found the noise level was loud, but it was more like people enjoying themselves. My husband enjoyed his dinner so much, that he made it a point to ask me to go back and get him the same dish. I went back today (Super Bowl Sunday 2024), and the restaurant had closed early for Super Bowl. Bummer, but I will go back to get hubby his meal.

Just okay food. My wife is from Louisiana and she said that the food was definitely not authentic, though not horrible. We did not enjoy the food honestly. I got a couple shabby chicken tenders that were not great and a half-waffle that was eh. The food portion was tiny for the price. We spent 60 bucks for Lunch on subpar food. Louisiana disguised food with some Mardi Gras beads. Waaa waaa.

Another delicious meal. This restaurant knows about Cajun cuisine and they show it off very well. Everything I ate was delicious. My friend only had four shrimp and her Poboy, but I'm chalking that up to a mistake. Hopefully we won't have that happen to us again, the restaurant was packed for Mardi Gras, so things were hectic and busy. Our server was not very friendly, and would come to the table next to ours and not even make iContact or ask us if we need anything. I think we saw him three times at our table before we ask for the checks, normally we have great service at this restaurant so again I'll chalk it up to the night and look forward to coming back soon.

The seafood/chicken jambalaya was dynamite. Collards were best I have had. The dog sauce was an added bonus. Food was on the table within minutes of ordering. Blackberry cobbler is delicious.

Food was super tasty, everything made in house. The specials selections are fantastic. Had the catfish, fried oysters, mashed potatoes, Mac and cheese, and bread pudding. Had a special cider "downcast doughnut cider" . Service very attentive. Restaurants is kinda crowded in, not a lot of moving room. Best for groups of 4 or less but could accommodate 5-6 people parties.

We have ordered food for takeout but decided to come in after having a power outage. Food is so much better in house and our server was really great. She was friendly and attentive. Berry cobbler was yummy and big enough for two!

I had ordered from postmates and the batter on the shrimp was soft and the shrimp itself was undercook. And I order oyster to but got all shrimp.I also order gumbo and it tasted like greasy brown gravy. None of the food had no type of flavor thank god I was at home to add my own seasoning. This meal was not worth $40. Never again.

My guy and I were eager to eat here. We were told that it was great food with great service. To start off we ordered the crab cake as an appetizer. I noticed the cook kept looking at me. So I then started looking at him. He started scratching underneath his shirt then looked at though he took a utensil to continue to scratch under his arms. He then started scratching his face and then his neck. Now we are engaged in eye contact while he’s doing this like he just doesn’t care that I see him. You are cooking food sir, while having no gloves on you are steady scratching yourself and don’t care who’s watching. You never washed your hands. He then digs in his nose and pulls something out and flicks it. At this time I’m beyond disgusted and called over our server to let him know what I witnessed. The server went back to talk to him then he again looked at me. He never washed his hands but then put on gloves.( Buddy needed an entire bath at this point) He then told the lady cook that was back there and she turned to look at me was well. I was hoping that someone else would be able to cook my food but from the looks of it, it was just those two. They were in between shifts so our new server came over to greet us and asked if we were ready to order. I told him that we changed our minds and spoke of what I witnessed and he apologized and we high tailed it outta there. I hope management does an in depth training of the do’s and don’ts of being in that position. That’s how people get sick and things become contaminated. I will definitely let people that I know and meet about my experience at this restaurant.
