This dinner was perfect!! The takeout was amazing and it was at a perfect temperature, when picked up from the restaurant. The customer service was also great! Buff chick dip was really tasty and the chicken was blackened perfectly!

I love Carolina Ale House, always a favorite stop of mine when I'm in town. Today I got the breaded honey Buffalo wings and fries as usual, but the wings were off today, the wings were way too overcooked. Coming from the food service industry, it looks like they accidently ordered smalls and cooked them as long as they would the mediums. It's been a few months since I've been here, but hopefully they get the bigger wings back in.Kid-friendliness: My kids love to eat at the Carolina Ale House.

Arrived at Carolina Ale House at roughly 7pm on 3/19/24. Waited at the front entrance for over 10 minutes, where there was NO one present. Proceeded to the restroom to wash up, and then back to front entrance, where there was still NO at front entrance. Upon looking around inside, we notice there was several staff members serving tables and attending the bar. So we proceeded to one of the over 50% unoccupied tables and sat down, thinking all was good. We sat at the table for over 15 minutes, until which point a “supposedly manager” asked us if we were good. WE responded, yes, just needed a server. He responded with, okay – we are on it, “I’ll send someone over”. We sat for another 15 minutes, meanwhile watching other tables get menu’s and service and even drinks. So, two of us went to the bar and ordered a cocktail, and to our surprise…even after ordering, and paying, with solid tip, immediately, the bar tender decided to go around the bar and chat up another guest. Upon receiving our drinks, we went back to the table and sat down, consumed our beverages and after 20 more minutes, and NO one stopping by the table – LEFT.BTW, the staff stood by the kitchen fixing each other’s makeup and giggling with each other about who know what. You decide how many “STARS” this place deserves.I’m a very open minded person – so I’m certain this was a one off night and event – but really?

I was so happy when this place opened in Waverly. Haven't been disappointed ever since. The sauce options for the wings are all great and the service is excellent. And so many TVs!

This is, hands down, my favorite ale house in the Carolinas! Everything on their menu has been great - from their wings with the signature dry rub, to the steak tacos, and even the sweet treats like their macked out donuts. Chef Justin and his team certainly know how to rattle the pots and pans in the kitchen, but what keeps me coming back is the exceptional service. Aja and CeCe are my favorite bartenders. If you're looking for a vibe like Cheers, then you definitely need to give the Ale House a try.Vegetarian options: Have more vegan options available on the menu.

I drove 30 min to have dinner at this restaurant and the restaurant was closed at 12:30. When google maps says clearly they are open till 2am. What a waste I come from South Carolina. You better call before you come.

Went in on a Sunday, just before 11 am. The doors were already open. Myself and my friend were invited in. Andy was taking care of us. He was welcoming and attentive. The food was fresh and yummy. We took our sweet time hanging out and never felt rushed. I would highly recommend it!!

My new fav restaurant, the food is great. BUT, last Sat evening, at least 20-25 tables (most of the restaurant) were left empty because they said they were understaffed and the kitchen was behind. ON A SATURDAY NIGHT! We waited at the bar for 50 min. for a table...as we look around and see a near empty restaurant. The wait staff are great and friendly - not their fault. It's the management - or lack there of! We will go back..but if they can't prepare at all for a Sat night, we won't.Parking: As many restaurants and shops are there, there's rarely a place to park.

Really nice place for a quick bite and to watch a game. Customer service is good. It gets busy on Friday and Saturday evenings, so there is usually a wait to get your food. Pretzel appetizer is my favorite.Parking: When it is busy it is extremely difficult to find parking. A walk is usually necessary.Wheelchair accessibility: Difficult because of parking situation at Waverly.

The food here is decent, but the last two times that my wife and I came here we kept saying to ourselves we should never go back. Well, we decided to give them one more chance. We came the other day and waited at the front for a hostess. As usual about five minutes passes and then someone finally walks in the room and then they bring us to our table. It takes 20 minutes before the guy shows up to our table. He takes our drink order which was just water and I said I only needed one more minute and then we will know what we want to order. He was gone for 15 minutes before we saw him again. We ordered our food and we waited for a minimum of 40 minutes so I gave him five more minutes and then we got up and we walked out. This place is run by kids. This wasn’t the first but it is the last.
