I was nervous about trying it out. But I had a taste for Somme bbq. The ribs without sauce and the lamb chops were amazing and the Mac and cheese was ???. I don’t mind the price if the food is good and the service is great. The gentleman who helped me was friendly as well.

Tasty BBQ from a smoker trailer parked at a Mobil station on Brookshire... Nice guys... Bring cash, $2 cc or cash app fee. I had the 1/4 chicken - delicious. Ribs looked really good too.

The food off this truck is....Had the turkey with tangy sauce with Mac and cheese, green beans, as well as potato salad. The portions were a good size. The only complaint is that being I don't eat pork they didn't have beef ribs or brisket on the day I stopped through. Got another meat plate but it slips my mind. Overall everything was smoked and seasoned very well. A must try

Hands down the best BBQ I've had in the Charlotte area so far. Love the smokey taste that all the meats have, the ribs fall off the bone, and you can mix and match BBQ sauces. The mac & cheese is delicious as well and can't have BBQ without corn on the cob. One combo platter had me and my fiance full. They are usually located on Brookshire outside the Mobil gas station in a small red truck. There is always a line so be patient and be prepared to wait. Availability on certain items vary so make sure to check their instagram for the exact menu, location, and time. There is a fee if you use card so bring cash. Cannot wait to go back again to try their turkey legs and jerk wings.

Hands down the bbq is the best I have had in NC. Can not wait for this man to get a store front. The bbq is seasoned, good to the bone good! The sauces are all bomb!!! The corn and my favorite is those flavorful green beans. The max and cheese is really good as well. We go almost weekly! Good food!

So after my boyfriend and I drove by the food truck we decided to stop in. We made the right choice! The chicken is so tender and full of flavor. I've never tasted anything like it before. Not only the chicken is delicious but do is the sides. The food is so good that we ate from there 2 nights in a row!! I highly recommend this place and it's certainly comfort food!! We got 2 meals for $20; not bad at all!!

Fried Ribs not a go to. A bit much. Like “frying butter.”

Today's review is from the food truck, Charlotte Ribman. Charlotte Ribman is located in the parking lot of a gas station on Brookshire Blvd. I ordered the combo number one, which came with three ribs, a piece of smoked chicken and corn on the cob as my side ($17). I also ordered the jerk wing portion ($3) (No, I didn't eat all this in one sitting)Combo 1RibsYep, before you even ask, the ribs were falling off the bone. That's a good sign for ribs. The only thing about the ribs I would change is to have a more robust flavor. Yes, I could taste the smokiness of the ribs, but that's about it. ChickenIn my opinion, the chicken was better than the ribs. With my order I received one smoked chicken drumstick. It was so tender and properly cooked. Very delicious.Corn on CobJust imagine a piece of corn, laying on a piece of foil, butter poured on top of it, with a special seasoning sprinkled on top of the butter that's on top of the corn. Wrap that bad boy up and let the steam melt the butter into the kernels. In other words.... I want sum mo.Jerk wing portionJerk wingFrom this order, the jerk wing was my favorite. So when they say jerk wing portion, they took a wing, cut in half and placed the drum and flat in the tray. The jerk season had a little kick to it, not too spicy and definitely not bland. I would definitely order jerk wings from them again.Rice and beansThe rice and beans were mediocre to me. It's as if they cooked some rice in a pot, and then cook the beans in Another pot. Mixed them together and served it. I had some leftover jerk seasoning from the wings that wer sitting in the bottom of the tray. The seasoning mixed with the rice and beans was spoon licking good. It gave the rice and beans so much more flavor. If I was to return to this food truck and order rice and beans, I want them to drizzle the jerk seasoning over it.#blackowned #charlotteribman #smallbusiness #explorepage #supportblackbusiness #foodie #foodporn #neweats #instafood #foodstagram #foodblogger #foodlover #yummy #ribs #foodgasm #instagood #foodiesofinstagram #smokedout #foodpics #tasty #charlotte #charlottenc #clt #jerk #queencity #charlottefood
