We tried the Cali, chicken and pepper cheese stakes. The small sandwiches are approx 6" and the large are approx 9". They were all pretty good. Each had decent amount of meat and didn't seem too bready. The fries were good (crispy and seasoned).The location is not big. Walk up window ordering only, no drive thru and no indoor seating. Outdoor seating and parking is limited. The wait was not bad at all, only approximately 5 minutes wait for 4 meals. The price is a bit high (but where isn't these days). The customer service was great (which is just as important if not more so than the food to me). They're also military friendly.I would recommend for anyone in the Charlotte area that enjoys cheese steaks to give this place a try at least once.

This place needs a disclaimer in bold letters what carolina gold sauce is. But more importantly just why????? Came from so far to be disappointed. The utter disappointment of biting into what you think is cheese but is really mustard…on a cheesesteak. As a chef, I’ve never been more hurt in my life.

Really good authentic cheesesteaks, fresh, cooked to order.. hearty ingredients there’s something for everyone. You can tell they aren’t cutting corners on product qualityI love their fries as well.. they aren’t the generic crinkle fry. I do wish they had a size option. This has quickly become a Charlotte staple for sure.

Update 3/22/24Quality seems to have gone down since I first visited. Maybe we went on two bad days. The bread was not same on one visit. Then the second time it wasn’t piping hot, more like warm. I’m not sure if we’ll be back. I already emailed the team. Hopefully they get back to what it used to be. Kind of hesitant to go back being this ain’t a cheap eat.—————Line was wrapped around the building, but they were fast at getting everyone in and out. The owners/employees are super friendly. The type of place you’ll happily spend $14 for a sandwich. BTW the sandwhich is huge. Cheesesteak did not disappoint. The ice cream swirl is a must. I’ll happily continue to support!
This place is really good. I've had the pizza cheese steak and the regular cheesesteak. The meat seems to be good quality and the fries are yummy too.

Located near a really nice area of dining places and bakeries, and wonderful staff. The sandwhich itself, the Diablo, was perfectly balanced between the heat of the peppers, the richness of the beef, the crisp texture of the fried onions, and the acidity of the pickles. I wish I had spent the extra to get the full size but even the half size is enough for a full portion.
