There was too much soy sauce in the fish-flavored shredded pork. My wife said it was fried pork with green pepper.

Unbelievable Szechuan food. A hidden gem. The menu has some authentic cuisine and some less challenging fare for those with a less curious palate.. Service is great as well.Update: Beware of takeout! Your bill will automatically be added the service fee with no option for you to make a decision.

It’s really low quality, I paid $20 and I’m not sure why. This is just regular low end Chinese. I got the szechuan beef and it was pretty gross, no flavor. You can just go to any other Chinese takeout restaurant and pay a lot less.

Empty place, bad service, awful taste…. Don’t understand how places like that still opened and people still adding as one of the best place for Chinese food in the area….. that’s not a real good Chinese food at all…. Really bad

The food was delicious! There are lots of options on the menu. I had the flaming spicy beef pan, which was very tasty, and the portions were large enough for leftovers. Would definitely recommend it!

Lovely restaurant with beautiful decor and very nice staff. Great for people who love spicy food and to try new dishes they might not see at other places with Chinese cuisine. The portions are great especially if you want to share dishes between the table. They do also have dishes that aren't spicy as well, just ask the staff if you're worried about spice levels and they can advise you. Can't recommend this place enough!Dietary restrictions: Safe for those avoiding dairy as much of the menu does not include it.
Authentic Sichuan-style food. Hits the spot for sure!

This place is great, food is good. The main thing to watch is they automatically put a gratuity on your bill and ALSO give you suggestions and a blank line for additional tip. This is very shady and also illegal.

$14 for their lunch special mongolian beef. Small portion, 70 % onions, 30% beef and salty. Oh yeah not to mention i found out they gave me someone else's food when i got back to work to eat. So i had to waste time, gas and loose money to get my food. Didn't offer anything to help make it right. Horrible. Save your time and money and go to Tai Pei South on Johnston which as been a steady rock for a long time.
They take too long to respond to orders, I've been waiting for more than an

We used to eat at taste of shu a lot.Was pretty nervous to order their food again after the change, especially after reading all the reviews. Ordered twice in the past couple days, taste is still pretty on point, similar with what we used to have!

This place is way across town for us but we sure are glad that we made the trek to visit. They had a big party seated right before us so the food was relatively slow to come out. However, they were very apologetic about the situation. The food all tasted very good! Everything was seasoned perfectly, not too salty nor under seasoned. Food was priced fairly. Would recommend checking it out, atleast once.
