Kai at Renaissance is a gem! Her attempts at French not only add an authentic touch but also bring smiles all around. For a moment, I thought I was sipping espresso in Paris. Five stars to Kai for turning a simple coffee run into a heartwarming trip to France, no passport required!

Sylvan the chef is the sweetest business owner you could hope to meet. His desserts are delicious and he put a smile on my little Amelia’s face. We enjoyed our brunch very much!

This place is very cute and has yummy treats or all sorts! However, after not having eaten there in several months, I was shocked to see the price increases on everything!! $15 for a ham and cheese sandwich is criminal. Tasty, but criminal.

Visually spectacular!!! Coffee cake muffin was fresh, moist and delicious.French Cheesecake was good and the crust was little bitter. Cream puff was creamy and tastes great when served cold. Red velvet parfait was too dry. Apple tartelette was fantastic topped with sliced and glazed apples. The pastry was a bit thick and chewy.

We love going to get a little sweet treat here! Not only do they have some of the most delicious pastries, the ambiance is relaxing & charming! Great for sweet treats on the go (we like to get our clients little desserts here like the cake parfaits or Gluten Free Macaroons) or if you can enjoy a cup of coffee & brunch out on their courtyard patio.

Excellent in everything! I had a mocha and a croissant. The mocha had a perfect balance of chocolate and coffee. The croissant was warm with a crispy outside, and it also had a sweetness to it. The outside area makes you feel like you are sitting somewhere in France enjoying coffee with company. A great place to go on a beautiful day to catch up with a friend.

The best local bakery around. I order from here every week, Renaissance Patisserie doesn't disappoints. The cheese danish, lychee raspberry macron, and tiramisu is amazing. The chocolate croissant is good also, but personally like a bit more chocolate in my pain au chocolat. The packaging is simple yet elegant and the pricing is affordable. Thanks Renaissance Patisserie for your quality and impeccable service!

I got my best friend a birthday cake from here about 3 years ago and we still think about it REGULARLY. Best damn cake I’ve ever had. It had little merengues on top, SO CUTE. And they took excellent care of us, made it so simple to relay what I wanted and easy to pick up. Would order from this place again and again and again. 10 stars.

These people are very rude. They ignore you when you walk in and I'm not sure how I would have to be or how I'd have to look to be served here in a timely manner but myself and the woman behind me were very put by the way no one would hand me my pick up order from the counter. I asked to speak to a manager and conveniently it was the person that was ignoring me. He said he had to check that everything was in the bag before he helped me. Did you not do that when you put it in there? All I heard was a lot of excuses about poor customer service. Maybe if I looked like their other customers I'd have been helped

My daughter and I visited Renaissance for the first time today. The pastries and coffee drinks were excellent. We were greeted by Makenzie who was very welcoming, patient, and helpful. She made a great first impression on us and we will definitely be back again. Thank you!

The most amazing pastries in Charlotte and their take away frozen entrees are excellent as well, especially the beef bourguignon. My only complaint is when they stuff a bunch of expensive pastries in a sack and you get home and they’re all smashed together. I usually ask for a box, but my husband went yesterday and our almond croissants and my carrot muffin are so sad looking. My muffin is completely flat on one side. When you pay that much for pastries they should look as good as they taste.
