When I first discovered this place I was delighted... but that changed quickly when I went to call in an order and the call kept dropping (or so I thought...) Still wanting a nice vegan breakfast I decided to walk in and place the order myself. I was curious about the phone issue so I called while waiting in line. The guy working the register answered it promptly... ok so I was getting hung up on. Not sure why but ok I'm here now might as well order.I ordered the hottie in the morning (a vegan dish) and requested just egg as an extra and the vegan bacon. They gave me an actual omelet (yes I can tell the difference) and ACTUAL BACON. I've been vegan for over 10 years now. Why they would do this I have no clue. I was specific in what I asked for with the add-ons so I'm not sure why I received meat and eggs with this dish. This place is NOT VEGAN FRIENDLY AT ALL!!! VEGANS BEWARE THIS IS YOUR WARNING!!!

As a vegetarian this is by far my favorite breakfast place in Charlotte. Great people, quaint little area, and incredible food. From their breakfast sandwiches with egg, cheese, hash brown, and vegan sausage on their house Bolilo or the vegan buffalo chix sandwich with house ranch, as well as the great smoothies and coffee....this place rocks.Vegetarians/Vegans in Charlotte, NC who have not had a chance to step in and have a bite in the cozy atmosphere with the great owner/staff are missing out big-time!Vegetarian options: Plentiful, and delicious!Dietary restrictions: Very catering to all needs, as all items seem quite customizable with many substitutes available across the board!Parking: Plentiful, and easy!Wheelchair accessibility: Oof, this is the one and only place where I am uncertain as someone who does not use a wheelchair...the interior seating areas are rather cramped, and I barely can walk between tables (e.g. to/from the condiment area or from the ordering area to tables/bar by the window) without turning sideways. There are outside tables, though, for folk in wheelchairs. I imagine (given how kind, accommodating owners are) that space could be made inside or a table moved to the interior front entrance area!

Cute little mam and pop shop. They have both regular and vegan food which is great as i am vegan. I spoke with the owner and she was so pleasant to speak with. I love that they have a lovely little eating area. Very nice place.

I just wanna take this time to say i love cindy and the staff at deli Street so much for the sexiest breakfast food in Charlotte. Food so good it will make you exchange a lambo in for a car battery. Food so good it will make you stand in the DMV line for fun. Food so good you can stream youtube videos on a pager. Food so good it make you call the cops for a crime that happend a year ago . All jokes aside, Its always a pleasure coming there in the morning and feeling so grateful to have vegan breakfast options 7 days out of the week. My favorite thing to get is the El chingon with just egg (vegan alternative egg) instead of the tofu. Its amazing. I love you deli street!!!!!

Maybe I ordered the wrong thing ? my girls seemed to enjoy their food and we all got something different ... I got a wrap with beyond beef veggies and just egg, but there was absolutely no flavor at all. I make this at home, and I quite enjoy it just wasn't seasoned enough of flavorful from the veggies. I love the taste of each type of vegetable ? and with a crunch

Stopped in for first-time visit on 11/20/23. Entry way has books to take/exchange. Nice! Outdoor seating in front under umbrellas. Surprising selections of beers and ales, lots of baked goods, breakfast all day and a full vegan menu. Coffees and baked goods are reasonably priced. I got a 12 oz mocha latte and a huge blueberry muffin for $7. Both were excellent. BTW, they also have a surprising selection of wines from around the world. I picked up 2 bottles of nice Italian wine to take to the fam for Thanksgiving. Friendly staff, warm vibes. Come visit this place; it's a happy little surprise. ?

I've been coming here every Sunday before my kickball games (about 2 months) and this place never disappoints. Great service and food and way better than Common Market

Breakfast sandwiches are on another level. Came to Charlotte for a 4-day vacation and ate here twice for breakfast. My only con is that the coffee is a tad too hot when served, but I'm busy eating the sandwich while it cools down.

Ah, Deli Street. My classic spot for hangover recovery sandwiches and all things good and nourishing. The Cindy’s Turkey on sourdough is so incredible and trustworthy. It is always perfect, every time. The staff is sweet. You feel at home here. But the food is the best part. Just when you start to feel like “I can’t think of anything good to eat that I can go get really quick/ going to be fast AND incredible…” you remember Deli St exists and all is well again.

A few people had recommended Deli Street and we were anxious to check it out.We went there last week and it was wonderful!! I can see why they spoke so highly of the place.Ample parking, a fun entry with cute plaques about coffee & a lending library, interesting artwork (some for sale), a menu with lots of choices, super clean, friendly staff, and good vibes. They have a vegan menu and a non-vegan menu so there is something for everyone! They are very dog-friendly and have a nice outdoor seating area. Most importantly, the food is fantastic!! We got sandwiches and hash browns, and desserts to go. The vegan BLT on house bread was out of this world and the coconut cake was delectable and decadent (and I got 3 portions out of it), as was a huge cookie with nuts on it. All homemade. They are in the happening Plaza Midwood neighborhood, easy to get to, and even have a drive through.Highly recommend and we'll definitely be back.

Boy am I lucky to find this gem I visited Deli St at 12:30p on a Sunday, at peak brunch time! The food and drinks came out so quick and at such a great quality, consider me impressed! Even though it was obviously during a rush, the staff was friendly and got it done! Who doesn't love a vegan and gluten free accommodating menu. And not to mention the cozy atmosphere! I ordered the Vegan Beyond Breakfast Wrap and my boyfriend the Country Club. It's such a plus for me to find somewhere with lots of vegan options but also some familiar favorites for my non veggie friends Definitely will be coming back to our new favorite breakfast spot
