While the atmosphere has improved for the better, over the last few owners the food has gotten worse. Dish used to give massive portions for a good price, now you can "funk it up" and this and that for a higher price and smaller portion. It's just a bit disappointing overall. Will continue to be a staple in the Charlotte community but I hope one day we can get back to a good balance of atmosphere and food.

The only reason for a reduced star was because there was a lengthy wait, but for there to be reduced staff, we had excellent service and spectacular food. The fried Salmon balls are amazing. They are mashed potato balls with a hint of salmon with a dip that was served on the plate and topped with pickled onions. These are technically an appetizer, but they are so good and filling.In the picture there are the Salmon balls and fried green tomatoes. My other photo has French toast with blackberries, bacon, eggs and a bucket of mimosa.Would definitely come here to eat again!Parking: This is a place you would walk to from a different parking area.

The salmon burger was not salmon it had bones and tasted just like sardines. I know exactly what sardines taste like and the bones that come with it. It wasn’t salmon that’s false advertisement. Horrible

Me and my friend stop in yesterday evening early morning around midnight not rude or loud we just wanted something to eat. Worst manners and server ever and we never received professionalism and quite honestly we all felt it was definitely racist towards all of us. We ask for water Three of us not once did he ever come by and ask if we need another bottle or anything we felt unwanted. I would never recommend blacks or browns to go to this establishment. Worst experience ever in 5 years residing in the charlotte area. Yes I was upset and told him how I felt. I am a successful Engineer enjoying the night friends and this in 2024 still happening they should be ashamed of themselves. If was?zero stars in would give double zeroes

The chicken and dumplings was the most horrid thing that I have ever been served at any restaurant. My friend enjoyed his entree but lamented that it was too small for its price.

I used to be a huge fan of Dish and I have bean eating there for almost 20 years. I have never had an issue there until recently. Service was absolutely terrible, and so slow. They weren’t busy either. But we had to keep asking for more water and refills in general. It took forever to be able to place our order for our main entrees. Then we had to wait 45 mins just to receive the food. We did stay optimistic and figured it would be worth the wait. Was it worth it? Absolutely not. There was no seasoning on any of the food. Mac and cheese tasted like watered down noodles. Bread was hard as a rock and not really edible at all. I used to love the food here but I am not sure I will be visiting again ?

So disappointed in the Country Fried Steak! They used to have delicious chicken fried steak, this was thin and no better than frozen. The smoky Lima beans were not edible. Again, they used to be so good. Not sure what has happened to them. Service was great, food wasn't.
