Love Duckworth’s Ballanytyne…we go at least once a week.Always friendly reception from the front desk, to the servers even to the kichen (shout out to chef Decario). Our go-to dish is grilled salmon topped with with mango salsa.Our main reason for visiting every week is superstar server Star. Her personal attention makes us feel at home, like Duckworth’s values its regular customers… and that means a lot.

I only ever get takeout here and while the food is good, the service could be better. Every time I’ve gone in to pick up an order, no one is at the front. The servers will see me and even the bartenders, yet no actual acknowledgement of my presence. I get that it’s a laid back vibe, but that doesn’t mean that good customer service should be sacrificed. I’ll keep going because the wings are good and it’s close to my job, hopefully timely service improves.

Had this place saved on Google maps for like 5yrs because the grilled wings looked so good in reviews but unfortunately I didn't like them at all. I felt like they were dry and fried to hard because the drums were all to hard to chew and they really wasn't char-grilled enough. My mom's philly had a pepperoni in it lol but the ranch dressing was soooo good.

Wonderful staff and selection of beers on tap. The guac was amazing and the ribeye was damn good.I even forgot to get my receipt for travel expenses and they were able to pull it and email me the info a month later will no hassle.

So we came in to watch the the final four basketball games and we sat at the bar section high tops. It was busy so I understand the service will be slow. We had 7 people so the we wanted a table big enough so we can all sit together. We found 2 four tops next to each other and combined the 2. Then we had the manager come and tell us that we had to separate the table. Just totally ruined the vibe and we all couldn’t sit together. It didn’t even block any walk ways. What a dumb way to lose customers that wanted to come to the bar and spend money. Not very accommodating at all. Almost every restaurant puts 2 tables together for a bigger than a 4 top. I don’t suggest going there if you have a party of more than 4 people.

I ordered the southern shrimp quesadilla, it was over cooked with atleast a pound of cheese on it. I ended up throwing it out.
Food and service was much better than last time I was there 3 years ago. Upgraded to 4 stars

Went while visiting NC and this place came reccomended by hotel. My 4 daughters and I went in waited about 30min on a Friday. No biggie. Got seated, waitress took forever, finally got us drinks. We order pretzels and they were cold. Ordered food and asked for 2 medium well cheeseburgers. Food comes out no cheeses and burgers over cooked.... wait for waitress who never comes back. Finally got a manager who was super nice but after driving and tired we ended up eating them and he comp the burgers. I would try again but definitely not that waitress.

Just recently moved down to Ballantyne (from Jersey!) and was recommended Duckworths and a few other spots around the area. I naturally ordered a philly and was super impressed by it and honestly had a little doubt in it at first but I must say it was delicious. I also got to meet a young fella behind the bar named Cody/Dallas (I heard another bartender referring to him as Dallas so I'm not sure which he goes by but he took very good care of me and even chatted with me some while it wasn't so busy and kept me company. The food was amazing, service was great thanks to Cody, my glass was never empty! 10/10 will be back. The only feedback I have is that the fries were a little soggy and weren't that great so I'd recommend tots over the fries.
