what a hidden gem!!!!! i came with a group of 9 and all of us enjoyed our food thoroughly!! the portions are amazing and quality of food is on point! the restaurant itself looks a little run down from the outside but don't let that drive you away. the servers are super friendly, definitely would be more convenient if you spoke spanish but they also understand most english. i can't wait to be back!!

We tried this place on a whim and loved it! Great food, reasonable prices, and good ambiance. Service was great, as were our meals.

This is probably my favorite Hispanic restaurant in Charlotte. The quantities are huge and the pupusas are very good. In my opinion, they likely have the best flan in the city. I encouraged everyone I brought with me to get the rica combo. It was a tamale, plantain empanada, and pupusa. Personally, I like the pork and cheese pupusa, but they also have beans and cheese and just cheese. The only odd thing is they serve the tomato juice to go on the pupusa in a squirt bottle. I'm used to it being with the pickled veggies to pick up the flavor. I wasn't really impressed with the tamale. I think they made them without the meat and then just stuck it in afterward based on what you order. The meat was dry and it didn't pick up the corn flavor as a result. I got the shrimp diablo. It was unique in that it also had a cilantro salsa in it. The star of the night is the flan. You MUST get this. It is dense and creamy. They offered to top it with chocolate, but don't. It is perfect the way it is. The atmosphere in here is nice... but the decor has not changed since I was coming here 15 years ago. They have cushy booths. Once you are finished, you pay at the counter. Parking is easy at the front of the restaurant and additional parking is available at the back. It's in a strip mall and a few latin stores share the same building.

Some veggie options here with pretty mild flavors but tasted fresh. Servers barely speak English and the neighborhood is pretty shady.

Forgot to take a pic but my dad and I ordered bistec encebollado with a side of maduros and the beef was perfectly tender. Also love the maracuyá juice.

If you want to be greeted with eye rolls from the servers, then this is the place for you. Rude customer service. Ordered take out and was missing food. The girl literally denied that there was an item missing basically calling me a liar. All I wanted was my money to be returned for the missing item, and they literally argued over it. Horrible management and servers. Be aware that they will steal your money and treat you poorly. Businesses like these are what give our Latino community a bad name.

This place is disgusting. Not to mention, they are rude here. The servers must have assumed I didn't speak Spanish and proceeded to talk about our table. While sitting and waiting to place our order, we saw a cockroach and left right away. I'm still more disgusted by the attitudes of the workers here than that cockroach. If I could give zero stars I would.

Wow. In an area with many Latin American restaurants, this is the best I’ve found.Had a tamal, pupusa, and plantain empanada. Homemade tortillas.Everything was fresh and perfect. Great service. Clean. 5 stars across the board. My only regret is that I’ve been driving past this place for years and waited this long to try it.
