I frequent Flower Child for lunch very often with Coworkers as it is nearby to us.Food is always fresh, prepped, and cooked to perfection. My favorite dish is the Chicken Enchilada or Chicken salad.Service is always fast and greatAtmosphere is nice dining setting for lunch especially on a nice day.The only reason not a 5 star in my book is due to price as a plate and drink can easily run you about $24 here which as much as I like it as a healthy choice for lunch paying this for lunch multiple times out the week as I feel it is a bit overpriced for ok sized portions of food. Unfortunately I guess it's the new world we live in where Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner places even burger places are A La Carte with the price of everything driven up not just a fancy steakhouse restaurant like it used to be

The rating is mostly because I really didn’t like the customer service as a first time customer. The tone and vibe was just very off putting. The taste of the food was decent. Multiple items were missing from my order the first person I spoke to was a bit dismissive so I asked to speak to the manager who gave off very much passive aggression. Didn’t really seem like he genuinely cared that I was a new customer having a bad first impression with his establishment. Even at the end of the conversation there was a point where it was complete dead silence like he was simply waiting for me to hang up. Some people are put in management positions but aren’t trained in emotional intelligence and lack empathy which really is something you need to function in a management position especially in a customer service people facing role. This place really lacks customer service. Even the way the food was packaged was extremely poor. For the price point you definitely expect all your items to be present and to at the very least receive quality customer service. This place just doesn’t give off that they are customer service centered and for that reason I probably would not return.

3/8/2024 at 8 pm: This used to be my favorite place to order from. I ordered a steak plate tonight (which is the only meal I’ve had today) and an hour later I ended up having the worst food poisoning of my life, throwing up and everything. I had to seek medical care it was that bad. Please check your meat something was clearly off. Unfortunately this has ruined this restaurant for me and I will never be returning.

The part I didn’t enjoy was the cook following me out to my car and begging for money. He said he needed money for an Uber home as he was about to get off work. This was at 11am right as the place was opening. When I told him I didn’t have any cash he got angry and stormed off. Kind of killed my vibe of the place.

I am GF & dairy free & they have several different options the Mushroom Bolognese was the best thing I had eaten in ages, so good that I went back for more the following day. Super friendly & helpful/ knowledgeable staff & excellent ambiance. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Please open a location in Chicago- I already miss this place :)

Food was delicious! I had BBQ chicken wrap- my husband had the Mediterranean bowl and my daughter had the enchilada. All we’re out here f this world !!!! I say give it a try ! Interesting menu.
