Nice setup but the food selection is limit and overpriced for what they offer. I went this past Sunday during brunch and ordered “chicken and waffles.” I was given two small eggo waffles and three heavy breaded wings smh. When I asked about the waffles I was told that the regular brunch chef wasn’t there. Inexcusable! If that were the case I should have been notified from the start! Never again.

Food is nothing like the pictures and taste horrible the rice and beans had a weird were the snapper was over cooked and bland the oxtails were smothered in too much sauce and came with no peppers or onions as pictured. A waste of money. Don’t eat here!

I ordered a lemonade from this establishment because I liked their food but after today I will not be back. They sent my lemonade in a dollar store 4oz cup with no lid. You don’t send a cup with no lid or this small for 2.00. Mybdrink could be spiked or anything and there’s no way for me to know. I called the lounge and the girl answered and didn’t care at all. She told me they don’t have lids! What in the 2023? Yall a whole lounge but can’t afford lids?!?! Then I keep eating and there’s a whole piece of plastic in my food. Never again!

I ended up getting the warmest greeting and immediate, QUALITY service from the calm, cool and collected Ms. Lyric (bartender), as soon as I walked through the door.I ordered food and an adult beverage to start; From the Pourage to the Rasta Pasta, everything is deiciously authentic! (Compliments to #HeadChefKev ??) Ms. Lyric and Mr. Tone (bartender - special shoutout #MiamiUniversityOfOhio!?) made Tequila Sunrises that actually looked AND tasted like the Sunrise...whew! Yes! Thank you both. LolOn top of that Ms. Athena (operations/mgmt - #NetworkingButterfly ), and all the chefs, kitchen staff, and even newer employees-in-training were absolutely delightful to encounter. This is a place that welcomes one's authentic self, shows madd love, and is most certainly innovatively refreshing!The entire place, and even surrounding businesses, has a positive and engaging atmosphere. This team is truly set apart in a positive Light ?#ShineOnYall!I THOUGHT I had stumbled upon Forty8Hundred just because I'm a serious foodie and traveler, but I can certainly say some type of spriitual alignment led me to meet this team of great souls under one jumping Rasta roof! I waited too long to try this place, considering it is right down the road. We wanted brunch and to watch a Panthers game so we finally tried it. You can tell that it is definitely a restaurant by day and a bar/lounge by night, and it has a dark, chill vibe. It wasn't overly busy when we went, and our server was attentive and the food came up quickly. I had the oxtail and egg breakfast hash, which was delicious. The serving was way too much for me to eat alone. My boyfriend got the whole snapper and grits, and there was no meat left on the bones after he was finished with it. I really enjoyed our first experience and will be back. Good music too!

Go for Cocktails and the vibe. I don't recommend the food. Service was wonderful. If it's your birthday, you might get a compliment birthday drink. Which I appreciated. Everyone wants to feel special!
Myrice was burnt tasting and a little mushy. The cabbage had no flavor. The curry chicken was OK. The place was nice and the server was nice. I will come back to try the oxtail empanadas.there food is to expensive for it not to taste that

I visited this spot while on workcation from Atlanta. I saw they had whole snapper on the menu and the pictures looked good, so I figured I would check them out. I showed up around 730p, right before the crowd and the service was excellent. The food was bland though. The fish was a little dry and overcooked. The vibe was good and the people were cool, so I wasn't disappointed with the experience. I took a few pictures, I bet it's live later in the evening.

I recently celebrated my birthday brunch at 4800 and let me tell you everything from the service, food to drinks were a whole vibe!! The complimentary birthday strawberry lemon drop was delicious.?I had the oxtail hash which was BANGING!! I didn’t get a pic of it unfortunately, I was ready to eat. I also had the j*** salmon egg rolls!! Listen…just stop by and visit. You won’t be disappointed. Keesh and Athena, thank you for your stellar service!?
