First time at this Hookah Bar April 21, 2024. If you have not paid this restaurant a visit…Do it NOW! Everything about this hookah bar was perfect. ? ?? Music with meal, brunch was delicious, service was exceptional, restaurant including restroom was clean. We (fam n friends) unintentionally shut the brunch crowd down…lost track of time due to enjoyment. Love love love this recommended location with chill environment. Fume…you are for mé!!!Parking: Difficult parking because of the many parked food trucks taking up the parking spaces. After arriving, it took me 20 minutes to walk into the establishment because of the parking difficulties.

Beautiful place! Celebrated my birthday here with my girlfriends and we all enjoyed our drinks and food! The music was a great mix of r&b throwbacks, hip hop, and afrobeats! We were all vibing!

Food and cake was alright - too expensive for the quality. We did not appreciate how 18% gratuity was added to the bill “for the house,” so the tip for the server had to be ADDED on top of that. I have never heard of that - usually the server pays to the house/bartender etc. from their tips. Also, two of us accidentally went up the back staircase because we had never been there before and were rudely told by a manager or hostess to go around the front. As I was walking down the staircase, I heard the woman remark something like “I’d never imagine going up that way” like how rude can you be! So unprofessional.

We came here for a nice Saturday brunch yesterday, and the experience started off with an extremely rude women who worked there yelling at us to go in the other entrance. How about y'all put a sign up at the other entrance option instead of getting an unprompted attitude with a paying customer? In addition to this, they had security standing at the door checking IDs for entrance at 12pm? What? We also found out AFTER paying that they added a 18% mandatory gratuity that they add to every customer's bill. I asked if there was a tip pre-added, and the waitress completely dodged the question and said "your tip is for the house." I assumed that meant no, so added even more tip without knowing what I was already charged. When we asked about this, they said it was for the hookah and bar service. Absolutely ridiculous that we're expected to pay for things we didn't even consider partaking in. I've heard of a mandatory gratuity for large groups, but there were 4 of us. LOL.

Firstly, this venue seems best suited for those aged 21 to 30; others might not enjoy it as much. On my first visit, the music was incredibly loud, making it impossible to hear any conversation. Did I mention how loud it was? By the way It appears that despite previous feedback on how uncomfortably loud the DJ is and yes, I said DJ in the restaurant, the restaurant hasn't taken the hint. With that in mind, it's not ideal for quiet dates or chilling out time with friends. While the music itself is great, the volume is excessive, giving the impression of being in a club rather than a restaurant. I'd describe this place as a club that also serves food. They checked your ID at the door. Now, what restaurant do you know where they need to check your ID at the door? Now I would say I know many clubs where they do that. While there's no official dance floor, people still dance around you as you eat, which might not be for everyone. As for the food, the flavors are quite good. I tried the brussels sprouts which was supposed to come with bacon, but they ran out, and their take on a New York strip, which was unfortunately overcooked, but still tasty. The cocktails were a hit with me and my friends. Would I come back? Possibly, if I was in the mood to just hang out without talking, simply enjoying music and food together, then maybe. Otherwise, it's not really my scene. I should also note that each table has a time limit of an hour and 30 minutes before the waiter reminds you to leave. You don't have to go home, but you can't stay there. Interestingly, our reservation was at 6:45, and by 7:21, no one had even come to take our order, yet we were still under the same time constraint to finish up, which I found completely unacceptable.

Beautiful place. Food portions were not worth the costs. My table ordered 2 mimosa flights as soon as we got there. They did not come out until after we were done eating. Yeah that's right, our lackluster meals that were ordered 20 min after our drinks were ordered came out before the drinks. In the end with gratuity paid $180 & still went to eat somewhere else.
Food was unique and very taste. Professional and courteous service. High level design and atmosphere. Top notch place.

Too loud I couldn’t hear myself think every setting doesn’t have to be a party. The food was overpriced and not even worth the prices. Reminds me of Infiniti lounge, sticks and beans and every other blacked owned restaurant club. Hence the word Restaurant club because I felt like I was in the club - there’s no dance floor tone that noise down please and get active on your prices cause at these rates you won’t be here for long. Maybe they’ll bring K&W back…lol… Constructive criticism

I first visited Fumée in February and had a fabulous time for my birthday. Our waitress Akire was fantastic, so attentive and super sweet. I would definitely recommend Fumée, its a whole vibe! The service, the food, the hookah are everything; the drinks though, the drinks are EVERYTHING. I haven't tasted a bad drink yet. I will definitely be back.

This place is overrated. I guess as with all things, it depends what you’re looking for. If you want a loud, club type atmosphere any time of day with subpar service this is your place. Ate at the bar and the girl who waited on us was dry, unavailable (not because she was SO busy)…she MYKAELA (had to check receipt because she never even said her name) was just bad…so bad. I’ve been a (great) server and bartender she was just horrible. Offered no water, had to ask for silver after we kept looking for it, she smiled once…giving us the check. Then I remembered…18% gratuity is added automatically so she wasn’t giving us anything besides baseline…this place really sucks…waste of my time and money…in that order. Not a “is this your first time dining with us” no nothing that sets them apart. Sadly the people who love it here…it’s probably because it’s the nicest place they’ve ever been…makes them feel exclusive maybe. I’ve been many places around the world…been to fancy and mom and pop spots…I left here went to a place 3 minutes away and had service that far exceeded here and the wings were excellent. Tipped 40% because the girl was that good. Fumee is a place for a certain group of people…ask yourself before hand do you belong. Oh! The guy at the front checking your id…more personality than the host and the bartender/host. He was authentic and he engaged. Move him in house or get him to train the others.
