Just finished our second outstanding meal here. Innovative (but expensive) cocktails, delicious unique entrees. Suggest getting two dishes per person to make a great meal together.

Very trendy, delicious, and busy spot. Basically reservation only. We reserved outdoor seating but it was a cold day and they squeezed us in inside. Food was artfully prepared. Small portions but sooo good. We tried the fries, curry mussels, Korean bbq, drinks, cheesecake, cappuccino, and Larry's Buns. Very loud environment too, it was hard to hear ourselves talk. It's ok though, fits the vibe.

What an outstanding dining experience! My lovely date and I were immediately taken with the ambiance, as soon as we walked in. The feeling of a well-run establishment was palpable. Bradley was just awesome, took great care of us, and made special note of my date's dietary restrictions and made accommodations accordingly. The food was amazing! The lamb shank dish instantly made this restaurant our new favorite in Charlotte. The green curry mussels were absolutely the best I've ever had (and I'm not a fan of any bivalve mollusk except scallops). Thank you to everyone who contributed to such a wonderful experience.

I had forgotten just how great Good Food on Montfort was! I don't think I've been here since 2015 (it was one of Charlotte's first trendy, edgy small plates restaurants), but it still ticked all the boxes for me. Food, service and vibe were all top notch! Our waiters were super friendly and attentive (they even brought us complimentary bubbly when we sat down in honor of my friend's birthday!). We shared four small plates - the mussels in a delicious green curry sauce (they have us two pieces of pita with that and I honestly wish we had gotten more - I could have sipped that stuff by itself!), the beet salad over whipped goat cheese (amazing), the pork belly bao buns and the mushrooms top with a quail egg (our favorite - very salty and lots of umami flavor). Finally, we finished with the chocolate bourbon cake with burnt caramel ice cream for dessert - absolutely phenomenal. The cake was warm, the caramel was sticky and the ice cream was refreshing. Perfection on a plate! Can't wait to come back again soon!

One of my personal favorite restaurants in Charlotte. I love the seasonal menu, although I am bummed when certain dishes are off the menu. The green curry mussels are delicious. I love the blood orange mule. The gnocchi are always super good. And desserts are consistently good. I like bringing people from out of town here because it's so different.

We were passing through Charlotte on our way to Virginia from Florida. I searched to find restaurants in the area and came upon good food on montford. What a gem. The food was excellent, Jalyn our server was excellent... very personable and friendly. The atmosphere was bustling for a Tuesday nite, but all the staff seemed to chip in where needed. Really nice to see. When I commented how much I enjoyed the gluten-free pasta jaylynn very considerate as she was went and took a picture of it so I could see the brand. To me that's above and beyond what you expect in a server.Dietary restrictions: Had the best gf pasta.

Everything here was good, a little pricey (and i'm from San Francisco) but good. And the service was perfect, we didn't wait long for the food, staff was friendly and attentive. I highly recommend the korean beef, fava bean spread, and garganelli, those were my favorite items we ordered. The duck pot pie was good but nothing I couldn't find at a cafe, if that makes sense. For the price i recommend getting something else.

This was an awesome spot in Charlotte! We sat at the chefs counter and it was such a treat! I liked the option of a non alcoholic drink just wished there was 1-2 more options for them! Otherwise, spectacular meal!

Talk about an incredible experience!! The food was beautifully prepared with unique and delicious flavor fusions. One of our favorite dishes of the evening was the scallops. They had a perfect sear with creamy grits and a subtle sweetness from the apple chutney (unique and super tasty)!! Best part of dinning experience was our server, Aleea. She’s the definition of hospitality. We ordered probably 12 items and she coursed out our meal and had the most positive attitude!! Food + service 10/10 stars

The food and ambiance is amazing here!! So tasty and great for a date night. The only downfall is the price. They are out of control for the portion size! $26 for a pasta with no meat?? Crazy! But again, so yummy, so if you're willing to fork up the cash this place is great!
