Place is amazing, beautiful and fun. Staff was attentive and friendly. Outside seating area is incredibly inviting and band was great. Prices are fair and good and drink quality was fantastic. Nothing but good things to say about this hole in the wall heaven.Parking: Plenty of spaces in the free lot or on the street for free tooKid-friendliness: Not a place for kids after about 8 pm but for lunch or normal dinner time it would be appropriate

*Will keep this as a 1 star until their website accurately reflects the hours of live music and will delete if they are updated*Cool place but the live music is drastically false advertised on their website. Very clearly said live music from 4pm-12am on their site for Saturdays... we went around 6pm and there was no live music, with the server telling us the music started at 8:30pm. Pretty disappointing when the live music was the reason we went

This place exceeded my expectations!! The live music, and staff is genuinely amazing! Everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. The food is great and portion sizes are perfect! I love the way the owners are so involved in the restaurant and talk to tables. I can't wait to come back again and listen to some great music!

I've visited now 4 different times. Below average and pricey place to eat. Food is expensive for what you get. Shrimp and grits is a ridiculously small portion for the price (5 shrimp, a few tiny pieces of sausage and 3 tablespoons of grits). Fried pickles were enough to feed a Tibetian midget. The queso and cowboy salsa would have starved any normal sized cowboy coming in off the range. I left there hungry with a lot less dollars in my pocket. I stopped at McDonald's on the way home. This cowboy was still hungry. Overall, menu options are limited. The ambience and aesthetic are appealing. The over under on the place shutting down is 9 months.

First time visit and last time visit. Arrived around 9pm to check out this live country music bar/restaurant. The place was busy with no available seating, we were told to hang by the bar to wait for the next open table.Two tables became available fairly quick. A two seat and four seat table. The couple waiting ahead us was seated immediately in the two seat table. I asked the owner/manager(not exactly sure his position) if me and my girlfriend could sit at the 4 seat table. Keep in mind there was no one else waiting behind us for a table. His response was I'd like to keep this table open for 4 not 2, how long are you going to be? My response was one drink maybe two(does it really matter.) The bar was nice, drinks were good and we were enjoying the live music. Probably 20 min into our visit; the same gentleman came up to us to ask how much longer we would be, he told me we told him we would be quick to have one drink. I said idk, maybe one more drink. In all my years, especially at 9pm(not even dinner time ) a live music bar I was basically being told to hurry up, I'd rather seat 4 people at your table and have you leave. That's definitely the impression I was given and felt. At live music bars/venues, isn't the idea and concept to sit around and drink and enjoy?!?? Not sure his idea of constantly moving tables vs letting your customers who have been seated to enjoy their experience is a way to run your bar, in my opinion that's just terrible customer service. Awful! Oddly enough someone has posted a similar experience so this makes me believe this is very common for this to happen to others.

Ugh ! I was so excited to check this place out .. Advertised as Charlottes first Honky Tonk- the outside of the building says Honky Tonk! Meaning country - The aesthetic when you come in is predominantly country minus the record covers on the back wall. While waiting for the live music country music was played . Once the live music started it was a mixture of classic 70's ,80's and little country. So much hootie and the blowfish ! The fill in guy @Ace.Presley was amazing ! Overall if your wanting live country music he sure to look who's playing and look them up ! The owner was very kind and engaging but for this country music fan the advertising of this place needs some work .

This is definitely one of Charlotte's best kept secrets. The food was amazing,! The best shrimp and grits I have ever tasted. When you walk in the door you are treated like family. Great food, great service, great atmosphere and entertainment If you haven't visited you are definitely missing out.

Cool looking spot and great atmosphere for sure, bar staff was super nice. However, won't go back. Spent almost $80 on French onion soup that wasn't good (like, at all, why was it white???) and 3 Bourbon mules that must have been watered down because being 100lbs, I didn't even have a buzz. Should have just had beer.
This place was an absolute treat tonight. One of the best atmospheres and bar experiences I’ve had in recent memory and I just got back from Key West! I can’t wait to come back!

Excellent place to unwind with live music and very good food. Could not have asked for a better experience with the staff. They were constantly visible and friendly and you could tell they were happy and loved their job.

Worst experience and customer service. Live in the neighborhood and was excited to try the new venture. Was sat by the hostess only to be kicked out 5 minutes later because a bigger party had come in. Absolute insanity. Tried to continue sitting at our table but the sever insisted that the other people needed to be sat so we were forced to leave. Don't recommend and will never be going back.
