Came in for brunch today. The food was good, however I was extremely disheartened by the service. My waiter was okay, however the busses treated me as if I were half a human. They did not seem to understand where they were nor what they were doing. She came out with my plate, and looked absolutely and utterly confused. When she came to the table, I indicated that that plate was for me, and she SNAPPED at me. She told me how "unhelpful" I was being, with a tone that recked of condemnation and disrespect. I was dining with friends at the time and felt so embarrassed at the way she was talking to me. I really hope that this place can remind their bus staff on basic manners and human interactions. Do not plan to go here until they learn how to treat their customers like real people.

We had a great brunch at Haberdish. The biscuits and gravy, grits, and chicken and waffles hit the spot. It is the exact place you crave when you want a hearty brunch. The gin and juice was simple, yet refreshing. The patio was a great way to soak up the nice weather and atmosphere of Noda.

An In-house hot sauce and delicious drink options form up to a great brunch spot. Had the Deviled-egg salad sandwich with smoked trout. I could have it for breakfast every day with no complaints.

Food was outstanding. Was very noisy. Could barely hold a conversation across the table.

For context, I've eaten here a lot. It's my regular birthday spot. The family gathers here often. I've come to know the menu well. Usually, when I make a reservation, which is most of the time, we get complimentary cornbread and a thank you note. Nothing this time, and we were told that this isn't done anymore. I ordered the trout, which is a regular thingf or me. There was no compound butter on it this time, which was disappointing. I ordered the charred okra, which is another regular for me. The okra was not charred at all. My husband ordered the braised short ribs. We both thought the menu price was $34, which is about right for short ribs. What he got was not short ribs. It appeared to be a rack of ribs with the bones removed. Short ribs shouldn't have fat. This plate did, and it was priced at $54, not $34. Also, there were some great items removed from the menu, that had been on there from the beginning, such as the smoky boiled peanuts and the pearled waffle with pralines and buttermilk ice cream. I don't think ownership changed, so I'm not understanding what's going on. I was very disappointed at the amount of money I spent. No drinks or dessert were purchased. Not sure I'll go back after this.

Cute atmosphere, not worth the money to be honest. $68 for Chicken & Waffles and Brussel Sprouts. Way over priced.

I am not a banana person. Their banana pudding is absolutely amazing. Got there for lunch. Had a punch made with earl grey tea. So delicious! The chicken sandwich spicy put me in heaven. I tried my partners waffle and could taste bourbon and vanilla essence. So delicious! This place is amazing, the staff was so friendly too. Very down to earth with amazing cuisine.

Went in a group and sampled most of the menu.Overall, the food was okay. The Brussel sprouts were delicious. I was disappointed by the sweet potato dumplings which were burnt dough balls with little flavor and the PB&J bacon. The chicken and dumplings were extremely salty and the chicken was dry.

The food was EXCEPTIONAL. Our cocktails were amazing. The staff were covering each perfectly and just generally killing it. We loved the ambiance and the fun location. I can't oversell the food. Now, the bad.Near the end of our meal, a family with children was seated immediately next to us. The kids had tablets. The tablets were so loud. So, so loud. I understand that this is a social problem lots of places, but I have multiple children, and if they have to have tablets in public places, I ask them to wear headphones! If people generally can't agree to stop listening to audio on their devices loudly, I think answer in this situation is for the restaurant to handle this by offering headphones or by asking for no audio to be played loudly on devices by adults OR children. Please don't ruin my rare, rare time out without my own children by imposing your kid's TV show on me at deafening volume. Please don't make me risk a public scene by handling this myself and asking other patrons to turn off the audio on your kids' devices. I don't believe in no-kids-allowed restaurants. I don't go to no-kids-allowed weddings on principle. But as a business and a venue, I'm begging you to please handle this social issue for me so that I can hear my husband talk when we're on a date.Kid-friendliness: Family-friendly but only if your kids can wear headphones if they need to use a device.
