I walked in to order a two piece combination plate to go but as I was the next person in line, I was really Annoyed about how the cashier main focus was pick orders, I then told her I wanted to place an order to go. She then asked the guy next to me if he had a pickup and he said yes so the next open cashier told him to come up. At this point I’m confused because I’m not with this man and she had the audacity to ignore the fact that I was Standing there waiting to place my older next. Y’all need to communicate better and post two separate signs let people know that , one line is for take go and the other line is for pick ups. Would be helpful…Instead of having individual stand in the middle of the door way trying to figure out who’s next. You could’ve even made a polite Announcement to the line formation. Once i was about to place my order it took about 15 minutes at the most to get my order in hand..So let’s talk about the taste.. Sigh..Where is the seasoning? Where has the flavor gone too…it was crispy but it was bland Very bland..I don’t know who is in that kitchen frying fish but they need to be retrained immediately…. To have seafood restaurant especially in NC..it’s about the Flavor, The taste and crispiness of the fish. This fish use to taste so good back in the day..now you want to charge $1.00 to add salt and Pepper … Wowwww!! ..,well I guess ill have to find a new place especially if I went a fried fish platter to go. This was a real disappointment!!! $28.00 wasted
Our sweet daughter treated us to dinner, we went out to celebrate and had an urge for seafood, we went to Harbor Inn Seafood, University City area. There was a special as you come in the door that I chose for jumbo shrimp, oysters, scallops and haddock, my daughter got whole catfish and oysters and my wife had whole flounder. Everything was prepared perfectly, very fresh and delicious, the server was outstanding, on the way out we stopped at the desert display, they had huge 4 layer cake slices of around eight different varieties, my wife has a coconut cake, it was refresh and delicious, tasted homemade. Great night out, we'll be back ?
I have been a long time customer of Harbor seafood, My husband doesn’t like it so much anymore he says it’s not the same. I wanted to treat my husband and show him it’s still the same. I ordered the flounder meal for my husband and the shrimp meal on the lighter side for myself for takeout. I was very disappointed as my husband’s platter only had one piece of flounder in his platter, he was still hungry afterwards I thought there was a mistake and they gave him a lighter side as well so I called the restaurant to confirm and I was told that only one piece of flounder comes with the meal shocking. Perhaps my husband is right I guess it has changed

My Harbor Inn Review:I dined at the Harbor Inn Seafood restaurant in Charlotte for the first time. The restaurant was spacious, clean, and bright. I was pleased to find that there was no fishy or greasy smell when I entered the facility. It was during lunch hours, so the restaurant wasn't crowded. The service was quick and pleasant, and the fish was hot and tasty.

I was here for a birthday celebration and we used the large room in the back since there were about 40 of us. The food is always delicious and our server, Mauri was outstanding. This is one of my favorite restaurants.
I hope I will not regret this review.....On my first visit I fell in love with this place. The seafood was well cooked and enjoyable. The atmosphere was inviting and the building was clean.My meal was very delicious and the cost was phenomenal. Return trips are a must! Enough food on my order for two people. Thank you for effective and accountability in food service.I highly recommend Harbor Inn.
