Beautiful course that is challenging, but fair. A few suggestions to make the experience a bit better. First, there are only one set of bathrooms on the course and they have a combination lock on the doors. Not a problem except that no one provided the code for the door locks. Second, the grass in the fairways was dormant at the time we played and was so deep that you could have a good shot, but not be able to find your ball in the deep grass. This has always been one of my favorite courses in the Charlotte area and it has been over two years since I last played here and it did not disappoint. Course was in good to great shape and got a great deal on green fees. My only complaint was pace of play. We were a twosome and a foursome let us play through on #6 but we ran into a twosome on #12 and had to wait on every shot after that. We saw the ranger twice on the front but only saw him on #17 on the back.
