Was very patient, as service folks didn’t show up which was fine… we had a nice party- and were fine with the slower pace. However, not sure if it was that I was the heaviest in the group/. I was ignored three times about if I needed a drink when everyone’s drinks were low, mine was only one that didn’t come out and then when our meals came out mine never did. Order just two sides, one of which another party member ordered and she got hers- it was weird.

First time here. Nice chill place. The food was delicious. I was really impressed with it. Seems like a great atmosphere in summer as well. We will be back for sure. Check them out.

I went to this place three different times! I really wanted to give it a try. The first time it was closed even though the website said it was open. The second time a very rude waitress said the owner had an emergency and they couldn't stay open. The third time which was the very next day, the same rude waitress said they weren't serving outside. I had my dog with me and couldn't bring her inside. This place sucks. They probably won't be open much longer. I found a new great spot called Woody's! It was perfect.

Was excited to see they reopened after hearing decent things. Made plans to go with friends. Showed up, they are closed. Hours are not kept up to date on their website, Yelp, or Google.

Great service, key west feel to the restaurant and AWESOME food! We had calamari, shrimp, burgers, soup & mahi mahi. Next time we are going to pace ourselves to try the Key Lime Pie! Loved it all - the service was the best we have experienced in a year!

The owner is an alcoholic, a racist, and doesn't know how to run a business. but the chef is great and cooks good food!

Don't let the shopping center location and modest outside fool you - the food and service are excellent here. Inside is a cheerful, island-themed space with a surprisingly large bar area. The patio is spacious and also a nice place to sit. Food was fresh and great - lots of variety on the menu including a number of specials. We had the fried tilefish and fried shrimp as our entrees - there is a nice choice of sides and they were good as well. There was a full menu page of drinks, but we did not try those on this last visit. Entrees aren't cheap, but they are reasonably priced for fresh fish - nobody has inexpensive fresh fish and if they do, you don't want it anyway. Overall, we have fun here when we go and always enjoy the food. Island Thyme is worth the visit, for sure.

Today was my first time here and I absolutely loved everything! From the sweet staff and the fun vibes to the delicious food, everything was top notch. I loved how the owner came over to chat like we were old friends. He explained in heavy detail the various items on the menu and since we were first timers he offered us all his best recommendations. My main meal was amazing but the star of the show for me was the key lime pie and the bread pudding. I’m telling you- I was composing angelic melodies in my mind with each bite. I can’t recommend them more highly and I can’t wait to be back!

I was so excited for a "different " island experience...sad let down. We ordered several mixed drinks, they ALL taste like fruit juice. The plates took forever to come out, food was barely seasoned. It's definitely a nice ambiance but just lacking. Also I think the menu is very small for the name" island" anything. Sorry guys level up for these prices.

In town from Staten Island, New York visiting family and found the Island Thyme restaurant with friends and family. I must say that we had a really good experience enjoying some excellently prepared seafood which was served nicely. Before dinner we stopped for a while at the bar and was served by Earl who was friendly and accommodating. All in all our stop at Island Thymes was top notch and we would surely return.

I felt like I was on vacation here at Island Thyme. So, I'd you ever want that vibe without traveling, island thyme is the place to be. The tropical atmosphere makes you feel like you're in Jamaica and takes away all your cares in the world. So it's a great place to relax, unwind, and enjoy a meal. The yelp page is misleading. It seems to have been reported closed, but this business is still open. So please come and support the business. You won't regret it :) What time is it? It's island thyme!

Prices have gone up but it's so worth it. Island is fantastic. Never had a bad meal. Desserts are a killer. They didn't have the flan this time and really missed it. It's one of my favorite restaurants.

I LOVE THIS PLACE it is definitely my new favorite restaurant. The staff are so nice have a fish tank with fished that have names ( my dad was all over robin) they are very short on staff but the one waiter was AMAZING, probably one of the nicest things people ever. PLEASE visit this restaurant because I would cry my eyes out if it closed.
