We had a waitress who literally was trying to rush us out from time we arrived because we had 6 kids with us. My kid went to pull the straw paper with his mouth amd she essentially telling him don't make no mess. Smh. She even told us we can let the kids outside (by theirselves) and mind you the kids was very behaved and they wasn't making no messes. She was trying to box our stuff up before we was even done. She took away 2 of my kids plates before I could even get it boxed up to take. It was horrible service.

Some of the Nasty's pulled pork I've ever put in my mouth. Dissolved in your mouth like fake food. The brisket was dry. Not like the Jim n Nick's in concord. But the server was definitely lacking. Crossed this place off for places to eat.
A lot of my friends really like this place , so I go with them some times. It's clean and friendly but stick to popular items. I ordered the fish and it was way under cooked .

The food is good, don’t get me wrong, one of the best I’ve had. However, this review is for delivery service through Uber Eats. I was in a hotel and ordered from this restaurant late night, and the delivery came with no utensils, no napkins, no anything to help me eat the food.I didn’t have utensils in the hotel, I literally had to use the stirring straws for coffee as chopsticks to eat my food. The fact that restaurants nowadays don’t offer utensils is crazy to me. So the food is good, yes, however, the service needs to improve. Please add utensils and napkins in your deliveries. It shouldn’t cost that much more to do so!

I was in Charlotte today for an appointment so I called in an order to jim and nicks at steele creek to be picked up on my way home. I walked in and paid for my dinner and asked the young man (his name may have been Shane???) had he checked my order to ensure my extra rolls and sauces were in the bag? He replied that he had bagged the food himself and that everything was correct. I took him at his word without checking myself since he was the young man who took my order over the phone and bagged it. The young man was super polite. But when I got home with my food (I live over an hour away) it was tasty as always. But of course, there was bbq instead of the honey mustard sauce that i ordered and of course the extras weren't in the bag either. Also they shorted me on the number of cheddar biscuits. I might be more understanding if they were swamped but it was 330ish and the place was practically empty. It's a small mistake...no biggie. I'm just a bit disappointed at the less than adequate service that was provided especially after I made it a point to ask and was assured the order was correct and ESPECIALLY in light of the 20% tip I left for a carryout order. Tighten up folks!!!

Great service.. great food.. we got the combo x2. The turkey is better than the chicken. Both good but turkey was just juicier. Ribs had that competition "bite-pull". Brisket was soft and flavorful. Arnold Palmer was perfect. We had a great lunch-date experience. Cheese biscuits were great. Definitely got an extra basket to go.
