This is a nicely decorated bakery. The owner was fantastic. The service was great and the coffee and tres leches were really good. If you are looking for a good treat you need to visit this place.

The absolute best chopped cheese I have ever had, and I say that heavily, beating out NYC hot spots and food vendors. We were greeted by a very nice lady who promptly built us this amazing sandwich, service is great. The restaurant has a colorful eclectic vibe and feels very cozy. The empanadas were also fantastic.

My boyfriend and his mom and i came there early today for breakfast. As a New Yorker and Dominican I always love coming here to eat a chopped cheese and pick out a desert. Typically we don’t dine in but today when East like Sunday had an hour wait we decided to dine in as his mom has never tried the food. She loved the atmosphere the customer service was lovely and when we asked her about the food 1-10 she gave it a 12. My boyfriend and I love it hear it is a must try the music is giving at your Dominican Tia’s house for chisme y cafe ! Not only that she was nice and took out picture making sure the photos came out just right. Everything is so fresh the empanadas, French toast & juice!

This place was warm and inviting. What really impressed me were the hours. A lot of small businesses have weird hours but 10a-10p is suitable for a lot of people and I think that's great. We stumbled here after leaving a near by establishment. We looked up the bakery on TikTok and my husband was hooked by a sandwich. The sandwich was everything he wanted and more! The fries were crunchy, season and hot! We live pretty far but will definitely be back. We did not get to try any of the bakery items. Service was friendly and welcoming with a smile!

Super cute spot. Was looking for a place for grab something sweet with my friends after brunch. Was driving around to a location that I wanted to try however it was closed and stumbled upon La Dolcekca and wasn't disappointed. It's really cute and quaint in there. It's family owned and in house made. They have a great selection of desserts, coffees, teas and food. They have a cute telephone booth decorated in flowers and let's not forget the cute tea sets they have. I got a biscoff cheesecake and it was so fluffy and light. Not too sweet and delicious. I couldn't even eat it all. Me and my friends also got the relaxing tea and it was just refreshing to have. I can tell it's a staple to a lot of people bc they had a lot of regulars coming in and they were also preparing for a customer's 50th birthday party in which they had prepared a cake, charcuterie board, etc so it was great to know that you can rent out their space. I will definitely be returning and have already told my friends about it.

I absolutely loved this place. The owner and her daughter are so attentive. The food is amazing. They make you feel at home! My boyfriend is lactose intolerant and really wanted a hot chocolate and she went about and beyond to prepare him a hot chocolate without milk. I am so happy we found this spot with a “heart & soul” this is going to be my to go spot for coffees and catching up with family and friends!

This place is super cute! I really like the authentic use of funky furniture, colors, and utensils. I'm on a mission to try all of Charlottes bakeries and cafes, and this one unfortunately, isn't one of my favorites. I purchased an orange spiced cupcake, a strawberry cupcake, and a rice pudding. The cupcakes were very dry and tasted old and generic. The rice pudding wasn't as smooth as the many I've experienced in the past. While the flavor was dull, it wasn't unpleasant. The staff here were very nice! The woman who greeted me answered all of my questions and had great energy. I get the feeling this place is known for their tres leches cakes and hot/cooked food, so I may consider going back to give those a try.
