I'm so happy the food is delicious again as a longtime patron. The only disappointment was the service this time. Management needs to stay present and vigilant. It took 40 minutes to get our order taken. No biggie because the atmosphere and food were on point.

Our server was sweet and funny so I gave her a 5. The char broiled oysters were oily and just okay. The center cut filet was not very flavorful to us. I enjoyed the Parmesan fries and the desserts were yummy. They do have some fun cocktails.

Indulge in the great variety of delicious oysters. We went to celebrate 2 birthdays and indicated it on our reservation. No one in the restaurant recognized our birthdays. Not good PR!

Great downtown location and loved the inside or outside or dining option Fabulous food and cocktails. I can't remember our servers name but he was exceptionally friendly and efficient. Only complaint was the entry floor was super sticky and made everyone's shoes squeek. Overall I highly recommend Stir. We will go again next time we are in Charlotte.

First place my girlfriend and I went to since being in Charlotte and I was very excited about this place because of all of the reviews. Unfortunately, this was the worst stop of the night. Waited over 20 minutes to see our waitress. After taking our drink orders, the drink I ordered was wrong and all of the drinks weren't good. Took her another 15 minutes to take our food order. She proceeded to continually drop off her papers and pens on our table multiple times through her sparse visits. Ended up giving her our credit cards to pay and we were charged an extra charge for another drink none of us ordered. Just don't go here. The food and drinks are mediocre at best. The service is terrible.

There was a hair on my plate, that me and the waitress literally saw at the same time as soon as she placed it on the table. There was already a long wait time for food so having to wait another 30-40 minutes for my burger was a little annoying, especially because at the end of my meal they didn't even offer to comp or take anything off for the inconvenience.

Our service was not good at all. I am not sure if the waitress was having a bad day but we just didn't get good service from her and when we got our food it was very cold had to send it back. When it came out the second time it was warm. The food was good taste wise but it just wasn't that hot.

This is my fourth or fifth time at Stir. I'm hoping this experience was a one off. We were seated at the “oyster bar”, essentially off to the side and right next to/in front of kitchen prep, dirty dishes, and the entire waitstaff and kitchen staff. It definitely struck me as odd, since the restaurant had plenty of other open tables, as well as room at the regular bar. Although odd, we sat down and didn't say anything. We ordered the deviled eggs which were drenched in salt. They had no indications of seafood involved on the menu, but one person in our party was unable to eat the eggs due to some seafood topping. Again, should have said something but we let it go. We ordered our meals but never received the brunch plate the menu states. We saw many other tables receive it. We felt very ignored and it was such a strange, off putting meal. We asked our server for separate checks and she just took the total and split it in half. Not sure what the deal was since other dining experiences there have been normal.

Service was very good overall, food was average. The steakhouse burger was underwhelming, however the asparagus side was great. The Shrimp Louie salad had an average amount of shrimp, however the deviled eggs turned out to be deviled egg. Then the check. A burger, salad, a Burboun, and a glass of wine. $99.00 with gratuity and tax.

STIR was phenomenal! Our Server was the best! She was very helpful with the menu and she even sang Happy Birthday to my son. The food was phenomenal!! We went to celebrate my son's birthday. Everything about STIR was top tier! We cannot wait to return!

Everything was good except the entrees. The ambiance is great, cocktails spot on, but the food was honestly lack luster and didn't taste “chef level” at all. I will say the oysters, crab bisque and matcha cheesecake, were great. So basically stick to drinks, apps and dessert and you'll be fine.

Highly disappointed in the food. The garnish on top of the fried green tomatoes was excessive, the tomatoes were flavorless. The cheeseburger egg rolls taste like it was mixed with that old school lump government cheese, the sauce is what made it edible. Alone it's a disaster. The steak in my bowl was past well done, I do not eat well done steak anyway and this steak was leather. Unfortunately I did not finish my food. My friends salmon was overcooked as well. The mule was a cup of ice, the waitress explained it's a common complaint but that everything is measured out 2oz. My thoughts are if it's measured out appropriately then what is up with all of the ice and if it's a common complaint, why continue to serve the drink in that manner??? Overall I would not return to the Charlotte location, I do intend to try the one in Dallas and compare. Valentine's Day Dinner definitely a bust!

Had the Shrimp Louie salad and shrimp/crab raviolis. Both were very nice. Drinks are fairly pricey if you go off of their house brand selections. Char grilled oysters were amazing but needed some soft, crusty bread to mop up the butter sauce left in the shell. Overall, we'll be back to try other menu items.

We ordered the steak special, a peppercorn crusted ribeye and it was overcooked and under flavored. The cold bar platter with oysters, shrimp and tuna was excellent but the entree left much to be desired. Even the potatoes were subpar.

This was my first time going to Stir, and I went for brunch on a Sunday. I made a reservation the night before and my table was ready 30 minutes earlier! Once my wife and I got to Stir, we were seated immediately. The atmosphere was great, not too loud or cramped. The food was hot and had great flavor. I ordered the country breakfast and was pleased with everything that it comes with. My wife got the breakfast sandwich which had great flavor. Each entree comes with a bunch plate which is a small side of chicken salad with pita bread, mixed fresh fruit, and coffee cake. I wanted to try their coffee, but they were out. Overall I would say that all the food was great and worth the price. I also ordered the old fashion which was very strong and somewhat sweeter than typical ones. I will definitely be back for brunch and to try lunch and dinner.
