This is the real deal. I went with friends after a celebration of life for a dear friend. It was our friend's favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Our waiter asked us if we were celebrating something and we told her we were remembering our friend and showed her our friend's photo. She remembered our friend and ran back to get the owner, who also remembered our friend. She was visibly sad that our friend had passed away. I believe that this is Charlotte's best restaurant food-wise. Ingredients are fresh and pop with their natural aromas, curries are hearty and flavorful, and the pho is exceptional. Staff are hospitable and though the place has a hole in the wall feel, it's bursting with life. Wait times can be long and reservations are questionably held, so that's a bummer, but the food is unbeatable and quick to come out.
