Found this gem from a Google search while passing through thr area. The stew beef was good, I heard the curry chicken was good. The portion size is enough for 2 meals or at least a meal and a hearty snack. The hibiscus juice was a too.

Being from philly I'm used to really good Jamaican Food. I ordered a LG jerk chicken which was dried out with hard clumped up rice. Truly first and last time for me. I suggest Irie over this

I ate here with my brother yesterday and omg it was the best food I have had in a longgggg time. I got the small oxtail and jerk chicken plate——1000/10. 10/10 hospitality and customer service, we ate inside because the vibes were great. I can not stress enough how much I enjoyed the food and overall atmosphere

First off the person/people answering the phone taking orders is very unpleasant and unprofessional because they don’t greet you on phone nor say “thank you for your order”. Mac and cheese had only garlic and butter no cheese, candied yams were boiled sweet potatoes cut in wedges, green bananas were disguised to be sweet plantains and the jerk chicken was an abomination I called to specifically ask how they cook the jerk chicken and they said “on the grill” well they must cook jerk on a gas grill or George Foreman grill because it had absolutely no flavor and it was cold they should hire me to cook the jerk cause mines is 100 times better…I posted a pic of stew beef roti which looks like dog food on a tortilla skin. Paid $35 for oxtail jerk chicken combo and got only 3 and half oxtails bones, the curry chicken roti only had the bottoms of drumsticks & 1 chicken neck. There’s no way the potatoes in a fresh pot of stew beef supposed to turn brown almost black in color all the way through. Save your time and money going here just cook it yourself, you’ll get the same results.

Come here! Don't hesitate to try this place. My wife and I stopped here while in the area. The service was great with the staff providing recommendations. The atmosphere was a vibe. The food was wonderful. We both ordered oxtail with plantain and everything was cooked to perfection. We spent around $68 (including tip). We would 1000% return if/when back in the area.

Authentic Jamaican restaurant, felt as though I was eating in Jamaica with the decor and style of the place. I tried the curry goat/oxtail combo that comes with rice and peas, plantain, and cabbage. I also tried the veggie roti. The combo was really good and I enjoyed the roti skin. Great 1st experience.Vegetarian options: There are vegetarian options

I wanted some Jamaican food, so I looked up on Google & found this little gem ?.And even though there are some mixed reviews on different food, this would be my review from my first experience, & being a Jamaican food connoisseur ?.First off when pulling up to this location, it is that first driveway that you think that it’s not ( or your going to miss it and turn around like I did ?).Now onto the food..So I did sample the stewed beef & the curry goat but the entrees that were bought happened to all be OxTails.Ox tails are a 10 / 10 the white rice was Bomb ?. I don’t like rice and peas, but the others said it was good. The cabbage seasoned well.We also had the sweet potatoes they are good, but they’re more of a healthy, sweet potato versus the down south version you might be a custom to. 5/5Oh Plantains -0/10 ..Horrible but I’m used to a hit or miss with them when it come to Jamaican restaurants. The red velvet cake was really really good soft & moist; I recommend it.The carrot cake im told was excellent that has real carrots in it. ? 8/10We got the pink lemonade & the rum punch. Those drinks are 7/10overall, I am very satisfied with LCR ?They are the Best oxtails I’ve had in charlotte so far.& the Customer Service is FantasticParking: Small little lot for parking. But there is space on the other side just a farther walk.

I ordered online, apparently ordering is quite different than coming in. No problem. But when I call & address my concerns, especially when your plate costs $30, I expect some type of " I'm sorry for that ma'am ", ESPECIALLY after I say that I've never ordered from you & your employee saying, yes it's different ordering online."All I got was someone telling me it's my fault.."Customer Service Skills are completely non existent anymore..
