For a private bar, they must not want members. I love Irish pubs, and places that I can get a proper pint of Guinness from. The place is pretty close to me, so I figured it would be a cool place for me to walk to with my dog and have a couple beers. Called the bar on a sunny Saturday afternoon to ask if they had an outdoor patio and if it was pet friendly. After asking if they had an outdoor patio, the owner immediately asked who I was and said that they were a private bar. He didn't even answer my question or give me any information on becoming a member. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. There are so many REAL IRISH pubs around Charlotte with much more friendly staff and management. Check out The Workman's Friend/ Tyber Creek/ Connolly's/ Ftizgeralds etc.

Gerry is awesome, and this is the most chill place to have a pint there is. My girlfriend and I live nearby and this is our go to bar in which to grab a beer. If you're down with sports and/or a relaxed bar where the owners are likely to learn your name, stop in.
