We had a great time at Mac Tabby Cat Cafe. The cats were fun and interactive and the staff was super welcoming and friendly. We will be going back! Just wish there was a location a little closer to us - Matthews, NC would be a great spot for expansion!

My daughter and I had the opportunity to spend time with the adoptable cats today and it was amazing from start to finish. They started promptly, gently reminded the kids to stay silent when they got a bit excited, and it was VERY clean. I wore black sweat pants and left with virtually no cat hair in me (my orange cat leaves more hair on me than the entire cat room lol). It was a great experience and next time I’ll try their coffee.Kid-friendliness: Accommodated young kids.

Drove over an hour to this place because the pictures had me believe it was a cafe that was an open area with the kittens. Not the case as the cats are behind glass doors with a lock that you need to pay per person to play with. Kids below 7 are not allowed during regular business hours except on Saturdays for $10 per person. During the week, ages 7 and up are $40 per person. Very sad business being run for rescues.

Beautiful experience i could filling the void of having two of my babies away from me at this moment. I loved every single cat in here today, the coffee was great and everyone was so kind! will absolutely be coming back. (it was also my birthday so this was a great gift :) )

My partner adopted a kitten from this place and the kitten essentially came to his home with a cold (Chex Mix). My partner was told that any watering eyes or sneezing is normal for kittens as they adjust, but within days this developed into a cold. His kitten now has red watery eyes and tons of sneezes.Usually, this is not a problem as most organizations will offer a low cost visit at an affiliated clinic and help the kitten they just adopted. However, after paying $140 for an adoption fee, which is steep and more than I’ve ever paid for my healthy humane society cats, they essentially told him to go find his own vet after a WEEK from his adoption date. Like I said before, the baby’s eyes were watery the DAY AFTER he got the kitten and they did not take the situation seriously. Just be warned that this organization facilitates over priced adoptions under the guise that the cats have been vetted but really they have been given shots, months prior, and they have no idea on the kittens current condition! Save yourself the $70-90 and just head down to the humane society where they will actually vet your pet and provide you with medicine if they are sick.
