Absolutely the best restaurant experience I’ve had in a VERY long time. We were immediately greeted and taken to a table, the restaurant is exceptionally clean, and our server, Angel, was extremely pleasant. Fantastic attention to detail. Savannah (who I believe was the manager) even came by to check and make sure everything was delicious, which it was. The homemade focaccia, salad, and ravioli were all superb and were made infinitely better by the five star hospitality. We can’t wait to return.

Tried the chicken special of the day and it was out of this world. The homemade pesto on the noodles was amazing and I still highly recommend this place. The noodles were starchy and clumped together. I expected more from the chef on how to cook noodles. Staff is super friendly and great service all around. They know the menu very menu and can help guide you. Worth visiting to eat!!!

I wonderful dining experience from start to finish. I brought my wife here last night from Atlanta for a night out. Our service from Stephanie was great! The manager was personable, but the food was out of this world! Highly recommend the Chicken Bianco and the Chicken Parm, Espresso Martini, and tiramisu!

Thee best authentic Italian food. Fresh on site made pasta, sauce, bread, salad dressing. The meat balls are amazing. Every meal is fantastic. It's always busy. Very loud with so many ppl talking. Then music you can't really hear. Other than that, perfection.

Our family came in today for my sister’s birthday. It was our first time here and the food was amazing. Not only that but our server, Alexander L was one of the best servers I have ever had. He was incredibly knowledgeable, definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for some Italian food. The portions are huge, especially the desserts!

Charlotteans have strong opinions when evaluating Italian food. It seems some prefer the old school, traditional establishments that have been in business for decades, while others prefer nuanced dishes. Mama Ricottas is the old Charlotte restaurant with a large dining room filled with table tops and booths. A makeover is needed, but I am sure it is not necessary to keep people coming in. The service was great, but the food was average. There were no new twists on recipes, but if you are looking for authentic Italian, this may be the perfect spot for you.We ordered a family size Radiatore with Meat Sauce and Ricotta, which was ginormous. Since we had enough leftovers for some neighbors and ourselves, we discovered the pasta was better the next day and cold. We each had a salad, but they both were overdressed. I couldn't eat mine because it was literally swimming in dressing. If you eat here, ask the server to place your order with light dressing or on the side. The bread and onion soup were the stars of the show.Maybe the experience would be better on another visit, but I won't be back. There are other Italian options that are much better.Kid-friendliness: There were many tables with children of all sizes

I ordered the meatballs and spaghetti and it was THE BEST I’ve ever had! I ate all of it before thinking to take a picture! I ordered it through Uber eats so I can imagine how extra wonderful it is if I came, ordered and ate at the restaurant!

I have been a patron for over 10 years and stopped going because they no longer have the chicken sausage pizza. We went back for a birthday party and will probably not return. The hostess was rude about changing our menus from lunch to dinner because some of our party arrived late. It took a long time for us to receive our pizza and when we did, it had no sauce and no cheese which is crazy. They remade the pizza and it had very little cheese and not enough sauce. My daughter wouldn’t eat her kids pizza. I used to love this place but things have changed and not for the better.

Ordered the meatball appetizer. It was large enough to share - about the size of a baseball. Also, pizza and radiatore pasta with meat sauce. The food was decent but not exceptional. The best part was the warm bread with chili oil dip served when we sat down.
