Some of the best ramen I’ve had in Charlotte! Everything was delicious, the broth was creamy and full of flavor. The noodles were cooked perfectly. I loved the pork belly, it was soft and a bit crisp at the same time. I also loved the dumplings. It’s very simple service and you order yourself so easy enough. Will be back soon!

Great job. Keep it up!Imo their pork broth is suuuper heavy so watch out. Tastes like the mix blended lard into it. watch out about that. I’d rather then either lighten it up or make it thicker and turn it into tsukemen

No menu's.They want you to scan some code with your phone to use your phone as a menu. I did not want to as there are QR virus threats going around so I just got up and left.Sucks because I really wanted to try the place.

My first time here, I love ramen and have had ramen in Japan many times. This place brings amazing flavors of broth and the noodles were exceptionally good, nice chewy texture of fresh made. All the staff was very nice, we went a bit after lunch on the weekend but only had to wait a few minutes to get a seat at the bar. You order by QR code at your seat and food and drinks are brought to you. It was fun to watch the chefs prepare the noodles. They were like a well-oiled machine. I usually don't like posting eaten food but I wanted to show that you will want to finish the last drop of broth. We will be back and tell others. Parking is a bit of a hassle, we parked across the street in the deck, it was free for now, but probably end up being a pay lot soon.

The food is just blah... I am not a fan of flavorless noodles and the stuff they call chicken breast look more like mystery meat and the texture is indescribable. The broth are so bland and flavorless. I understand there is a palate that loves this cuisine. I prefer The Cilantro Resteraunt on Thomas Street which I just left and thought I'd stop by and see what Menya was like. Friendly attendant. I hate the low benches. This clearly a place for Charlotte's overpopulated young residents. I will not be returning.

New go to ramen spot. This is closest ramen I've found that compares to my favorite ramen ever from Chinatown in Boston. I wish there was an option to add corn though :( but the flavor more than makes up for it

At this place, you've got to place your order using your phone, and they offer refillable drinks, which reminded me of the authentic ramen spots in Japan. They even make the noodles in-house, and let me tell you, they taste fantastic. The Tantanmen has a unique but delicious flavor with hints of Chinese black pepper. Highly recommended! ??

Great Ramen?, been to couple of ramen restaurants in Charlotte, but this one by far is the best and authentic ramen I haved and most similar to ramen restaurants I visited in Asia. Also the ordering style is same as most ramen restaurants in Asia where you self order by mobile using QR.

Love their handmade ramen noodles and broth made in house. Small spot but amazing quality food! I recommend the Buta Bao Bun, Tonkotsu AKA and Tonkostu Kuro. All fabulous and deeply rich in flavor. Also, sit at the bar where all the action is if at all possible!

Authentic noodle counter that makes their stock and noodles in house! I ordered the pork gyoza and the O.G. Style abura soba. I am not a huge ramen fan so I was wanting to explore something new. This abura soba blew my expectations out of the water and it was freakishly delicious. The noodles absorbed a ton of flavor from the sauce that was in the bottom of the bowl and the quality of the noodles was perfect. After I finished the bowl of abura soba, they gave me a small bowl of rice which helped finish off the rest of the leftover sauce. This was a great gesture to end the meal. The gyoza were great as well and the service was very attentive. Definitely a spot worth trying out if you are in the area.
