We visited the Metro Diner located on Pineville-Matthews Rd. for the first time. We were greeted by Amber, the Kitchen Manager. She was very friendly and suggested specific items for us to order.My husband and I ordered the signature chicken and waffles, croissant French toast and our girls ordered the Belgian waffle and bacon omelette with hashbrowns.The chicken was delicious! The waffles were fluffy and the croissant French toast was wonderful. My daughter's omelette was filled with thick and crispy bacon.We'll definitely be back!

First time vacationing in area, and Metro Diner saved our Easter weekend. We went to 3 different restaurants the prior 3 days and they were pretty bad. We found this diner today for Easter Sunday and it was fantastic! My wife got the Steak Bowl and they accommodated with fried eggs instead of scrambled and she raved how good and marinated the steak tips were! I got the Fried Chicken plate 4 pieces of the juiciest, freshest, fried chicken I have ever had. I am 55 years old, I have eaten alot of fried chicken in my life! I added Mac & Cheese and it had no eggs which is the best! Thanks Metro Diner from 2 old ladies from Greenville, SC!

We love Metro diner and it’s our preferred brunch spot any day of the week. We were in there today with our daughter and the service from a new waitress, Amanda, was amazing! We’ll definitely keep coming back again and again.
Waitress was great. The Cook kept touching his clothes and body with his gloves on, then touching the food. We didn't even eat out food once it got to our table. We ordered the club. The other location is much nicer, food better.
