This place was literally finger lickin good. We couldn't decide on what to eat. Then we saw this place and looked at the menu and went inside on a hunch. I'm so glad we trusted the hunch! The BBQ chicken was delicious! The sauce was thick and the chicken was juicy! The coleslaw was a bit watery but definitely delicious! The Mac n cheese was cheesy and crispy on the top. But the friend chicken...let me tell you. This fried chicken, was the best, fried chicken, I've had in so long! It was nice and crispy on the outside and still juicy on the inside! You can't find that just anywhere. The potato salad was lacking but I was too focused on the chicken to care. The staff were friendly and quick with greeting. They were also very helpful with answering questions and even let the woman behind me sample a piece when she wasn't sure! I cannot boast enough about this place. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back when traveling through Charlotte.

First time in Charlotte. Saw this place on tik tok. I decided to give it a try. I ordered a side of Mac and cheese. It was bland. I also ordered the Tropical Kook aid it was delicious ?. The customer service wasn’t great. It’s like the workers didn’t want to be there. They were rude and unwelcoming
Y’all 16$ plates ! This is a kids meal ‘ so disappointed! Drove way too far to be skimped . SMH refused to get dessert or a drink after seeing how I was not getting no moneys worth .

If you're looking for soul food in Charlotte then this is the place to go. I've been the last two times I was in Charlotte and they never disappoint. Excellent food and great service.
Good food, very clean restaurantStaff were very helpful and nice. Food was good. Big selection of proteins. Wish they served fried okra, but not a deal breaker. I would go back.
