It was nice. We had a good evening there, but not amazing. I thought it was expensive for what it was. My little girl had the pasta and meatballs, and she liked it. I had the chicken parm. It was good but very heavy on the pepper... it overtook the dish. Know that the entrees don't come with sides. They are add ons. The entree should've come with a nice salad in my opinion. My daughter wanted a lemonade. She had 2. That alone was $10 for small glasses of lemonade. We also got the mascarpone flan with hazelnut ice cream. That was excellent. We paid $78 for me and my 5 year old and that was very expensive for what it was. I drank tap water. Overall, good. Not excellent.

My wife and I have been going to this restaurant 2-3 times per week and we have met there with our son and daughter 3 times with a party of 6. Last Saturday evening we have a reservation for 6 and when we arrived my wife and I were taken to the table at the doorway where you go from the main restaurant to the two rear rooms. They had set up two tables designed for two people each and placed another two chairs on each end, so three adults would be setting at a table designed for two. The end chairs one of which backed up near another table and the other end chair was at the doorway access to enter the rear rooms which is also where the wait staff hang out. I told the waiter (the one with a pony tail) this was not acceptable, that we had a reservation for 6 and he assured us this would be fine, my wife did not want me to make a scene. Well it sucked, there was not enough room on each table to accommodate three people, water and wine glasses, dishes and dinner wear. My wife even found a rubber band in her food so she had to wait while they made her a new entrée. At the end the restaurant added a 20% gratuity which we thought was a little high considering the service. No one apologized for the rubber band or the bad table and location. The food is good but is not fine dining and if you are a party of more than four good luck. By the way even Bentleys do not add 20% gratuity for a part of 6 and is a much classier restaurant.

OGGI is an amazing gem!! This is the 2nd time we have been there, and both times they were spot on. The food is cooked perfectly. We had the scallops and the filet mignon which both dishes were tender, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The ambiance is wonderful and inviting along with great service. Don't forget to end the evening there with a mouthwatering desert or even an espresso/cappuccino.
Came here on a weeknight and it was crowded. It seemed like it was a great place to try so we thought we would sit at the bar. When we decided to sit at the bar we were told that they only do reservations at the bar starting that night. We decided to come back on a different day. A couple weeks later we were able to get a reservation. We came on time and the place was not open. They opened about a few minutes after they noted they would be open. We were seated. It took over 50 minutes to get the food over 35 minutes to get an appetizer of calamari, the server was OK. I requested my salmon to be medium well, but it was rare. I had to send it back if you really hungry I probably do not recommend this place because it takes an extraordinarily long time to get your food. The manager was present, but did not check on us at all or ask if everything was OK. The decor was basic. I hope your experience was better than mine. Not sure if they were having a bad day or what.

The chicken was great, the pasta was ok. They serve a warm bread while you wait for your food which was good. Service was good, attentive and warm environment. I'll be visiting again to try a different dish.
Very good, authentic Italian cuisine. A semi-casual atmosphere. Can accommodate a romantic evening, a family outing, or a business dinner. Service was great, prompt, knowledgeable, and courteous. Food was very good, but I've had better though. Even so, it was a very good dining experience.Dietary restrictions: My wife has a gluten allergy and they are able to accommodate gluten-free diets.
The woman who took my order was very nice. She recognized my bank card and shared with me our military connection. The food was good. The portions were a little small though.

The ambiance, staff, and food are the perfect trio. Chef Carlos is outstanding and I highly recommend this location to anybody in the Charlotte area. If you are seeking great Italian food, look no further because Oggi has you covered.
We went to OGGI for a New Year's day celebration of my daughter's birthday. Our server was wonderful, but unfortunately the food was not. Two of us had the veal piccata with fettuccine. The fettuccine was without any flavor and the veal piccata was just OK. One of us has a Caesar salad with chicken, which was under dressed and underwhelming. One of us had the filet mignon. The meat was tough and difficult to cut. Not at all what you would expect from such an expensive meal. We have been to OGGI a few times and our experiences have always been positive. However, this was the first time I could say I was disappointed. Not sure if I'll be going back.
