I ordered $40 worth of food and asked for extra fish sauce( I ordered egg rolls) I was denied even after I offered to pay extra for the sauce. I was told they couldn’t give me any extra sauce. I thought that was strange.

The chicken pho was dry, but everything else we got was yummy. Large servings of noodle dishes and pho. Myself and two other all ordered the soft noodle dishes. There was an abundance of protein and veggies. The shrimp were large, and the beef was tender. When a member of my party didn't like the chicken pho, they took off the bill, and she was able to order the beef spring rolls. Customer service was excellent! No attitudes about anything! The tinted windows make it a relaxing atmosphere. We would return. Pictured here is my shrimp and soft noodle dish that is served with jalapeño soy sauce on the side. There was Hoisin, soy and fish sauce on the table to doctor up your dishes.

Wow how do you run out of chicken and beef and limit your customers to what they can order because you guys clearly didn’t order enough product that’s bad service

The food is amazing. This is my first time trying a vietnamese restaurants and it was worth it. The Vermacelli bowl with grilled chicken is tasty and the spring roll is really good. I enjoyed it very much. I can definitely come again some day.

The best Vietnamese food in Charlotte, at least in my experience. The food always tastes freshly made. And that may explain the slightly longer wait times mentioned in some other reviews. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the servers are always friendly and gracious. I have not had a dish that I did not like. But I will mention their fresh spring rolls as being particularly good. Try them with their marinated steak.

I'll begin by praising PHQ for their excellent service. The personnel is helpful and courteous. With carryout options and a typical Asian storefront dining design, the ambiance is tidy. One thing that was good was that the food was freshly prepared. My broad noodles, though, were mushy and overdone. In my stir fry, the vegetables lacked the desired crunch and al dente texture that I associate with Asian and Vietnamese dining establishments. Still, the chilled vegetable spring rolls were excellent. The oyster, chili, and peanut sauces were my favorites from Homemade.

Today was my second time coming here and I was excited since the first time the food was real good. Sadly 20 mins sitting down and no one even bother to come and ask for drinks or take our order. We left and no one even notice it. Also you couldn’t even talk to the person at front since all she was doing was taking payments and there’s was a lot of people paying and picking up orders. If she is the only waiter, I can see why service was so terrible.

Food is delicious but portion sizes are on the small side(ie the meats in the pho). You will get charged $1 extra for extra pho sides (sprouted beans, basil, lime, siracha and hoisin). Also for each item in your orders, an additional $1 is charged for take outs only!

LEGIT VIET FOOD! Bun bo hue comes with pigs blood!!! Yummmmm. Only restaurant since moving to NC (from LA) serves it that way. Generous portions. BEST VALUE FOR THE PRICE. Not spending $20 for a mediocre bowl of pho like other places. Ordered take out and packaged very well, the girl who took my order was on point and asked all the right questions (such as how spicy I wanted my bun bo hue), and I like it SPICY!
