I really love the wall art and the seating. Very authentic and beautiful. The black ramen was my fav, I added fish cakes and chicken, the chicken is to die for omg. The broth is splendid and I love the portions in the ramen, especially the bean sprouts since I'm a big fan of those. The chopsticks are great quality and the sake I had was super oishii. My partner had white ramen and it was also really good. The pork belly literally melts in your mouth its so delicious. We spent about 70+tip, had 1 white, 1 black, a Kani (crab) salad, added chicken and fish cakes, and a bottle of sake which was like 22. I really loved the crab salad, it was honestly spicier than I expected and I loved it.

I came here after seeing it featured on Andrew Loves's instagram page. Maybe they were just having an off day but the ramen was terrible. The noodles were good, they had that good chewiness but the broth was such a let down. We tried the black and red ramen and they were very watery and oily. It was to the point I thought maybe they missed a step because there is no way people are drinking the broth we had and are okay with how watery is was. We also tried their purple potato fries with the matcha mayo, I thought the fries had a nice texture but the matcha mayo just tasted like Japanese mayo. I couldn't taste any matcha in it.

First time visit to relatively new restaurant in the beautiful Stonecrest shopping center.The restaurant is beautiful, clean and smells amazing when you walk in. Our service was prompt and professional.From the shrimp buns to the incredible ramen, this place is a must try and will quickly be a go to!
I first contacted Kazoku about accommodating a party of 12 for a birthday dinner and they were very communicative. My daughter wanted to celebrate her 6th birthday with ramen and Kazoku exceeded our expectations. Jennifer and the server with her were very attentive and patient with our large group. Everything came out quickly and was delicious. For appetizers, we ordered the karrage, takoyaki, and purple potato fries (our favorite). Our table ordered miso ramen, shoyu ramen, chashu don, and karrage don. My miso ramen was perfection - they even put the chili sauce on the side for me, so I could add it a little at a time. The cherry on top - they prepared a mochi ice cream dish with a candle and they sang to my daughter! We had such a great experience and several of us are already planning our next meal there.

It worked and everyone in my party loved both their food selections, the atmosphere, and the service. Jessica, our server, was fantastic and polite. She answered menu questions with kindness and professionalism. We had people in our party who have never had Japanese ramen so the staff's patience was so appreciated.Thank you for making my birthday special.
Great Ramen spot located just a few steps from the movie theater. You can walk there to grab a bite after a movie, and seems like a great spot for a date night too. The ramen was good, I tried the chicken broth. The Ebi shumai was also delish...those bites always go so fast (next time might get 2 orders)! This homemade hot sauce is a must try, I ate most of it by myself lol. Service was ok, they do try to get you in and out since it's a smaller space. Overall, hope it stays around because it's a great new option to have without driving far for ramen.

Ramen makes everyone's belly feel warm and nice. Kazoku gets the job done for sure! I ordered the Kazoku Miso Ramen, which is labeled as spicy. Our server confirmed with me if I liked spicy things, which I was appreciative of since I can't really handle spice all that much. So she offered to put their homemade spicy sauce on the side for me. What a smart approach and shows the level of care from this restaurant. The ramen arrived with the spicy sauce on the side as expected and was appreciated by me. The broth was flavorful and delicious. It was really really tasty. The noodles had a perfect texture, the ground chicken was a nice addition, and the pork belly was good enough (although I'm not a fan in general). I even got brave enough to start pushing the spicy sauce in to mix around. The sauce didn't add too much flavor to the solid things in the bowl, but man did it pack a punch to the broth! Several times it hit the back of my throat just right, but overall it added a great flavor. My wife is a big fan of spicy things and she loved this sauce. When the meal was over, she asked for a container to pack up what was left. So that's a great sign for anyone who wants to try something spicy here.The atmosphere here is wonderful and feels authentic. We sat at the counter because all the tables and booths were already taken. We're glad to see this place being so popular even at lunch time. One corner of the restaurant has walls painted to look like a downtown area. Several booths are decorated to look like you're in a private kiosk. And the art and Japanese text around the restaurant is a nice touch too.Ramen Bar Kazoku is a fantastic restaurant for a warm and hearty meal.Vegetarian options: Our pescatarian kid was impressed that even the kids menu had a vegetarian ramen choice.Parking: It's a big shopping center, you'll find a place to park.

Ramen Bar Kazoku was quite the experience. The staff was extremely polite and helpful with the questions I had regarding the Curry dish this place offers. I will say this was one of the only places in Charlotte that has offered Japanese curry. There are quite a few options on the menu for both meat and non-meat eaters.Our order was placed online and was on the more expensive side compared to the other ramen locations. Now, for the meal itself, the shrimp tempura was amazing! The rest of the meal was not. The curry lacked any "wow" factor, and the chili sauce did not help. The vegan ramen wasn't much to call home about, either. I wasn't a huge fan of this place, but it got the job done by filling my tummy. If you're nearby and would like ramen; you can try this place out.
