This store gets an F because of Corina! She does not understand customer service for delivery drivers. She doesn't understand the hassle to pick up a delivery order as there is NO PARKING. I explained to her that I needed the order that she stated was IN RESPONSE TO LAURA:in the fridge and ready but she made me wait until she was finished what she was doing while I'm getting a ticket outside. The store and its workers have no respect or sense if urgency when it come to people picking up food from a place without parking. If this continues this place will find itself out of business because what delivery person is going to want to go through such hassle. This store is not worth it.IN RESPONSE TO LAURA:It's so commendable to stick up for your employees that's awesome! I think your missing the point! If you heard the audio then you would have heard me ask for the order which would have taken less than 60 knowing we are scrambling for parking! But instead she continued to do something else. Again to me this is piss poor customer service, and no sense of urgency. You dont need to treat me to a bowl, but you can always treat me and other drivers to paying their parking ticket. No one has to yell or be irrate to not get the best customer service. If you think this is great customer service, there is some coaching that needs to be done. As for me. It's a No! Walked in for a bowl for breakfast. Tried “Karina’s Favorite Bowl” that was on the sign. It was soo delicious! Definitely should be added to the menu. Each ingredient paired so well with each other. Even the chocolate chips which I admit I was a bit hesitant with. Karina herself was also very pleasant and gave great customer service. Will definitely be back for the same bowl!

My friend came in to get a smoothie bowl and was not greeted by the employee. Don’t know her name but she was brown skinned, small and petite had straight hair. Whoever was working January 6th 2024. She stood there for 8 minutes trying to order and still no response no acknowledgment from the employee. Finally got her attention ordered and was very polite saying thank you and please. She didn’t respond she had a very bad attitude. Later as my friend was eating her bowl she started to choke on a piece of gronola and was to the point where she couldn’t breathe and her eyes were getting watery. The employee seees her and does nothing. She started to yell out “water water” and she looked at her and pointed to the water and said “you can buy a water from there”AS SHES LITERALLY CHOKING. This is disgusting behavior, she didn’t care about a humans life, she didn’t care to get her any water. It could’ve been fountain water for all I care but the amount of dis acknowledgment and carelessness is crazy. No human should deserve to be treated like that and that girl does not deserve to have her job.

I love this place soo much. The bowls are sooo refreshing. My favorite is the carnival ride. I like to add Nutella to it and it is soooo good! Highly recommend on a hot summer morning.

The decor of this location feels as fresh as their açaí bowls. They have so many options!!! And tons of really fun and unique ingredients. I chose the Berries Treasure and added goji berries and almond butter... Best açaí I ever had!!!! The young lady at the register was very helpful and accommodating, she answered all my questions and we ended up chatting for a little bit while I was enjoying my açaí bowl. I learned she had been working there for about 2 years while going to college and she mentioned they work around her school schedule which tells me they don't only sell delicious food, they are also good with their employees. This is a major plus! I couldn't recommend them more! :)

Noticed they did not wash the berries. The employee took raspberries directly out of a bag, opened the container and then put directly onto my bowl. Didn’t want to make scene but no way did I eat those. Makes me question what other produce they arn’t properly
The bowls are great! I go to the uptown location. I went in the other day and the guy working had an attitude. Not to mention whoever the girl was working with him was making the bowls and he was literally sitting at the register on his phone. It’s like what happened to customer service? Especially when ordering a 15$ fruit bowl. Do better! Also it’s Sunday and I’m writing this and it shows on Google they are open but no one is answering the phone and it’s not showing up on Uber. Please fix your hours if you aren’t open on sundays.

Today my husband and I tried Spoons after doing Red Light Sauna in South End. I tried the Sugarbaby and it was delicious. It mostly will be my go to bowl from here out. It was a super refreshing and there was something special about that peanut butter that I can't put a finger on lol. 10/10!

My boyfriend put me on to this spot. I had never been! I usually hit up Rico's for my açaí bowls. I've always heard Spoons was great too, just hadn't made it by there yet. But he goes a lot and grabbed me a bowl one day. I ordered the buried treasure bowl and added Nutella. This bowl comes with banana, açai, spoons granola, blackberries, blueberries, chia seeds, raspberries, strawberries, yumberries. It's SO FREAKING DELICIOUS!!!!! Every time we go this is the bowl I order. I love that they package the to go orders in these super cute tiny cooler bags to keep them cold until you get home. I've never been inside the location, but one day I plan to. I'm definitely a fan of this South End Spoons location.
